I bought two of these kits in 2014 to fit onto two Gorilla ladders. They have proven useful time and time again. I swap the leveller leg from side to side with ease, depending which side needs the extra length. I have seen the ads on late night TV for other levellers but they don't seem as easy to use as this one.

Be aware that this equipment won't fit your extension ladder if it is extended by rope and pulley. Won't fit my smaller bailey ladder that extends manually - no rope. The washers and packers included in the pack can't adapt the kit to the ladder.

This product was fairly simple to fit. I'm not giving it 5 stars because the screws that came with it are not long enough to fit on double walled ladders. We had to purchase new screws in order to fit the base plate. Supplying longer screws would help it be more compatible with more ladders.

It works well, and is a quality product as well as being very expensive compared to the price of the ladder I’ve attached it to. Some handyman skills and a power drill with a very large drill bit (11/32 of an inch). If you don’t have one, there are some further expenses, obviously. All measurements are in imperial units - I suspect this item is put together for the US market. The instructions are relatively clear but could be improved. Once you’ve invested in one of these devices, the use of an extension ladder becomes far less tentative. Expensive but very handy.
Good product easy to use
Was hesitant to buy this product because of the prohibitively high cost but I am glad I did as it works great. The leveller fitted easily to my Bailey triple ladder. I weigh 120kg and routinely use it to clean gutters on a sloping block and the leveller is easy to adjust, rock solid, and made the process much safer.
