Don't buy these batteries

These batteries did not work on my car keys and caused me considerable stress. We changed the batteries in the key as we were going on a long trip. We stopped for a break and the key wouldn't restart the car . After contacting numerous mechanics , key specialists and nearly spending hundreds of pounds we thought of checking the batteries again and low and behold the problem was that these batteries didn't give out 3 volts which is needed for the car key.

Fits the Bill

Just what I needed, and available immediately. I only needed one, for an electronic doorbell. With other outlets you had to get much larger packs. So well done Toolstation. Ordered, collected and back up and running in less than a hour.I found that Toolstation has a number of small quantity items, which is brilliant for DIYers and others which do not need larger quantities. They do of course have bigger pack of items if required, so the choice is yours.

Such a wonderful battery. Rarely have I been as happy as when I collected it. Sitting there in it's wrapping, all shiny, new and bright. I had to stop myself ripping the packaging off there and then in the shop just so I could get my hands directly on it. What a wonderfull experience and yet, the best was yet to come. Would you believe, it fitted exactly into the cavity in my kitchen scales. What are the chances of that? Wonderous! My only concern is when I have to renew it. I could never hope to emulate this heavenly experience so fear bitter dissapointment if I try. Perhaps it would be best to simply bury the kitchen scales with the battery at peace, resting inside. Over packaged by GP

They are batteries, what else to say about them? Actually, GP over package these to a ridiculous extent. They are sealed between two layers of plastic, welded to each other and then stuck into cardboard. Why do I need to use scissors to cut round a battery to take it out instead of ripping the plastic off the card back like every other button cell package I've bought in recent years? Why do GP double the amount of waste plastic round each battery?
