I have always been a fan of Absolut vodka. It has been my go to vodka drink with its strong taste with a variety of mix I've used such as cola and lemonade.I am very much intrigued upon receiving the Aussie made Grainshaker vodka. I have never tried corn vodka myself before. I tried it on the rocks, and it provided a softer finish, making it perfect for straight drinking on the get go. I also tried some cola and lemonade and I must say, it is as good as my go-to vodka. The cherry on top is it's Aussie made! I would gladly have grainshaker as my go to vodka moving forward!I have shared this with my friends over th Father's Day weekend and they absolutely loved it!

Gave this vodka a test run on the weekend and really enjoyed it! I mixed it with lemonade and I also made a mudslide type cocktail with it. It had a nice smooth profile and that lovely subtle vanilla caramel aftertaste. The flavours were amazing in the cocktail! Like an alcoholic milkshake! I shared it with my partner and friends and they all enjoyed it. My partner said it was up there in his favourite vodka flavours!I really like the fact it’s handmade in Melbourne as well.I would definitely purchase again and recommend it to try out!

Who'd of thought that a corn vodka could taste so good and the fact it's Australian made, I don't think I'll be buying anything else from now on. First time trying a corn vodka. It was as the label says, smooth and nice to have over some ice for some easy sipping, and does not have a harsh aftertaste. Smoothness for me was up there with other premium brands. I couldn't howver make out the caramel notes, but that might just be me - not a bad thing however for vodka to be clean and simple. This will work well as a mixer.Recommend to give it a go on special as an aussie made drink!
I recently purchased this vodka a few weeks ago . Not a big vodka drinker but the fact that it’s locally hand made in Melbourne peaked my curiosity. The packaging alone is eye catching . It went down a treat and let’s just it didn’t last very long when my friend and I had it . We tried it straight on it own and it initially had a smooth caramel and vanilla grain with a bit of butter punch as an after taste .Found a basic cocktail recipe online and mixed it with some lime juice, pineapple juice and raspberry syrup plus ice . It’s was so delicious!!I’ll definitely be purchasing this again.happy to support local :p
This is good quality, small batch, handmade vodka that has much of the nasty stuff in the heads fraction removed. Much cleaner and smoother than similarly priced vodka.After distilling my own spirits for so long, the mass produced stuff is almost undrinkable.This stuff was a decent for the price.Bought some "Copper Plate" brand stuff after and you can taste the foul heads in it.
Very glad to have discovered this corn vodka! Looks good on the outside and tastes just as delicious. I first tried it on its own and was pleased to discover it didn't have that nasty aftertaste you usually get from vodka. Must be the vanilla/caramel that they've gone for. My go to is a vodka lime and soda, which was a nice way to complement the grain. Definitely a must try! And always great to support local.
I am not a huge vodka lover but his might have converted me! Generally I find Vodka too strong but this one is very clean and subtle tasting. This one is softer with a hint of vanilla and makes it much easier to drink for me. It doesn't have a yucky after taste it is really lovely. I love that this is Aus made and I mixed it with lemon lime and bitters which was lovely.
Not a big vodka drinker but this might change my mind. Smoother and softer than traditional vodkas, especially with a minor hint of vanilla. Mixed with various sodas and juices and all went down a treat. Other vodkas have a stronger bite which I don’t like but this is very smooth. Really like that this is made in Melbourne instead of overseas (especially Russia). Will buy again!
Drawn in by the fact it's hand made in Melbourne, I thought I'd give this a go over my usual Euro vodka of choice. Very glad I did! Drinking it straight, the taste is quite subtle and smooth, with a light aftertaste. Like a true adult, I mixed it with Orange Juice for myself and my partner and they complimented each other well. My partner isn't a fan of most vodkas due to the strong "alcohol taste", but didn't mind this one for whatever reason - perhaps the "smooth vanilla and caramel" taste advertised on the label.Well, love supporting local, so will definitely be grabbing more of this for the next night in!
