Grant's Triple Wood – Blended Scotch Whisky in a 1.0-liter bottle. Grant's Triple Wood is one of the most well-known blends from Scotland. As the name suggests, the whisky develops its flavor profile during maturation in three different types of wooden casks. Virgin Oak barrels contribute subtle spicy notes, American Oak barrels add vanilla hints, and Refill Bourbon casks provide a pleasant spiciness. Overall, the Scotch is balanced and smooth, making it a great choice for whisky beginners. The aroma features fruity notes of pear, seductive vanilla sweetness, and malty nuances in the taste. Sweet elements carry through to the finish, accompanied by subtle smokiness. You can buy Grant's Triple Wood Whisky in a 1.0-liter bottle. Of course, Grant's Triple Wood can also be enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but its true strength shines in classic whisky drinks. A timeless favorite that suits any social gathering is Whisky Cola. Simply mix 1 part Grant's Whisky with 3 parts Cola and garnish with an orange slice. Order Grant's Triple Wood Whisky in a 1.0-liter bottle now.

You will struggle to find the "smoky" and 12yr old triple wood in most retail outlets. What a pleasure to find them through Clink and at such a good price. Triple wood easily stands alongside many malts in taste and flavour (and well above many well known malts!). I will be a returning buyer. Such good blends should be more widely available.

Good price, and my husband enjoys it, so that's a win - win in my eyes, so I got two bottles in, and I'll try to purchase mire before the Christmas rush and put a few away for him! The product has remained at a good price level for a few months, and is the cheapest on the market that I've seen! So, definitely a bargain!

I was hoping to like this, as I enjoy most of William Grant's offerings and the price is great. However, the grain alcohol dominates everything. Neat, on the rocks or in cocktails I had trouble finding anything I enjoyed this in; and didn't finish the bottle. Better off sticking with JW or Dewar's.

I have been tasting various whiskeys for a while now. This is now one of my favourites, especially amongst the cheaper whiskeys. Although it is not as smooth as a single malt, I really like its complex yet easy to drink palate and actually prefer the flavour to some more expensive smoother whiskeys.
Bought it yesterday. Actually the label is not Family Reserve, it is Triple Wood.Good taste, no complaint considering a surprising price for 1.75L—equivalent to $10.72 for 750ml.I like to go straight or with reduced ice.
Thought I was buying Grants Family Reserve - which I have bought for years. Balvenie is my preferred scotch but too spendy to buy often. If you decanted the FR and let it oxidize a few days it was “Balvenie like”. Apparently Grants have changed things up and FR is no longer available. What I received was Grants “Triple Wood”. It’s pretty good, and very inexpensive- but I preferred FR. I will probably buy Dewars in the future when I don’t want to pay for Balvenie. Total Wines delivery service was very good - and quick. I will use it again.
I always buy this from Liquorland next door to Coles. If not a decent price then I just have to wait until it is as often on special so keep on checking for that. Peter is always very helpful when he is ever there at Kings Cross but now I believe he is at Leichhardt NSW.
I tried this very first time few years ago, and since then I am hooked to it. After Chivas, this is my favorite blended scotch. It's smooth (not as Chivas) and has a very mellow and less smokey taste to it. Best alternative that doesn't break your wallet. Cheers!
On first cracking open this twelve year old I got a definite mature oaky vanilla aroma but on my first taste I wasn't that impressed when drinking it (neat). I gave it a couple of days and poured another dram, this time over a cube of ice, and the taste seemed to me to have matured with the promised complex vanilla flavours coming to the fore. Delicious. The presentation box was extra well packaged with the pair of delightful Glencairn glasses safely snuggled inside.
I have drunk this on various occasions and have compared it to other blended whiskys in the same price range. It is definitely the best in its price range and quite a pleasant drink. It has no roughness, in other words it has a smooth flavour, and has a decent amount of flavour. What more could you want?
