The Gravastar Mercury M2 is a very special and atypical mouse. I immediately loved its aesthetic that looks almost like an alien from the Alien film series, with a perforated outer shell and a semi-transparent inner shell with LEDs. It is precise and fast, does not miss a shot and can be used easily.?However, I must make a preface, this product has a downside for every merit:??- the aesthetics are very nice and comfortable, but not quite as comfortable as I would have hoped, because the mouse is very long.- the open structure makes the mouse light, but it is made of plastic and despite the holes it makes my hand sweat, I would have preferred metal also for the cost of the product.- the LEDs are nice and are activated only when the mouse is stopped so as not to ... MoreThe Gravastar Mercury M2 is a very special and atypical mouse. I am not very tech savvy. I have been using a cable connected mouse before getting this GravaStar Mercury mouse. Not being a fan of batteries, I connected this new one via a cable as well. So far so good, there were no issues short of figuring out why the cursor moved at light speed :-) , but once that was sorted it was fairly simple to work out the color setting and get back to doing online activities. I haven't used it for gaming. I do find just one issue with it, and that being that it is fairly small, in width. It's not a deal breaker for me but could be an issue for some I suppose.

I wanted to give myself a few days with the mouse before saying anything, but I can happily say this is really a terrific mouse. The mouse feels extremely solid, yet fairly light. I had seen a number of reviews online saying it was a very heavy mouse, however while still a little heavier than my last mouse, feels light enough and easy to control. It does come with some stickers, as well as some extra pads for the bottom, however personally I didn't use any of that. The mouse is attractive enough on it's own without adding the stickers, and the pads didn't feel needed. A nice touch that I personally didn't need, but I can see others really liking that those were included.Battery life seems great - I use it for work all day, as well as gaming after, and have been ... MoreI wanted to give myself a few days with the mouse before saying anything, but I can happily say this is really a terrific mouse. The mouse feels extremely solid, yet fairly light. A nice touch that I personally didn't need, but I can see others really liking that those were included.Battery life seems great - I use it for work all day, as well as gaming after, and have been very impressed at the battery life. I think I charged it once in roughly 2 weeks, with constant use.You can download an app to configure virtually everything on the mouse - buttons, dpi, light settings, etc. Works well, and easy enough to use.Buttons feel great to click, and the mouse wheel is a nice large size.Have experienced zero connection issues or lag with it running wireless. The lights are easy to see and on top of having a number of preset settings via the app, you can customize them however you'd like.Honestly, overall, really impressed with the mouse. I was partially expecting to find something to nitpick, but I've been extremely happy with it, and haven't a negative thing to say.
This is a surprisingly comfortable mouse despite it's small size.Coming from an 800 dpi mouse I could immediately feel the difference when using it on a 42 inch 4k TV that I use as a monitor. The cursor movement is incredibly smooth and there were no jumps or skips. I tried it in wireless mode with the receiver. As for the aestetic choice in design, that is subjective and for me personally I don't like the changing led colors. They aren't the worst but I would rather turn them off or at the very least have it set to one color, which I haven't looked into yet.It is a light mouse but not to the point that it feels cheap. The left click is responsive enough. That makes it a good travel mouse too in my opinion because that way I don't have to have a dongle sticking out of my laptop.
First of all, I’m a huge fan of Gravastar. I have their chargers and speakers and absolutely love them. However, as far as the new Mercury M2 mouse is concerned, there’s one glaring issue for me. The software to customize the side buttons and the color of the LED is for PC only, so you're out of luck if you have have a Mac. That isn’t mentioned anywhere on the product description page. The LED works, but it just cycles through random colors. That's a huge let down for me. Other than that, the mouse is light, responsive and beautiful. It also matches my Supernova speaker perfectly.
By far the coolest looking mouse I own. Reminds me of the front end of a lowered sports car. I personally don't love the feel of the mouse in my hand, so for that reason I don't use it during aim intensive games. I prefer my superlight 2 for that only because its lighter and doesn't shift in my hand nearly as much. If the superlight 2 is out of the budget then I wouldn't hesitate to buy this mouse. I do use it pretty regularly. My favorite part is that even when I'm not using it I still feel like I'm getting my moneys worth because it looks so cool and really makes my setup look unique.
I'm not the hugest fan of this mouse... The ergonomics keep resulting in me grabbing it backwards when when I move it to my desk. Given when it's on my desk its oriented correctly so grabbing it blindly I don't have a huge issue with the ergonomics but I also find it to be way to light weight. It being light weight might be something I could get used to over time, but I prefer to feel like I'm actually moving something instead of just sliding my hand across a table. The Design, while not necessarily the most form fitting, define allows some breathability of the palm, so if you're dealing with sweaty palms, the only way I think this would be better is if you had a fan going inside it too.Connection options of wired, USB dongle, and bluetooth are pretty simple to ... MoreI'm not the hugest fan of this mouse... The Design, while not necessarily the most form fitting, define allows some breathability of the palm, so if you're dealing with sweaty palms, the only way I think this would be better is if you had a fan going inside it too.Connection options of wired, USB dongle, and bluetooth are pretty simple to select from by moving the power switch left for USB dongle, right for Bluetooth, and center for off/wired. Not sure how long the battery life last on it yet, but does required to be recharged with the provided USB cable if you aren't keeping it tethered. The cable isn't super long so tethering it doesn't seem like a great option unless you want to try to find another cable - but I don't think most people will be looking to keep this tethered. So to sum it all up, I'm not a fan, but if you're into lightweight mice and need something that will keep your hand from getting sweaty, this seems like a valid option, but I think I'm going to stick with my old school Logitech M705 Marathon.
I've been burning through mice in a hunt for an actually good wireless mouse that still looks cool. I've tried Razer, Pwnage, Steelseries... and a lot of them had issues with signal or just being crappy mice. The M2, however, is what I've been hunting. Not only does it look sick as hell, it's comfortable to use, have yet to have the wireless signal drop, has surprisingly great battery life, and functions great! So smooth. My only complaint is the USB-C port on the back of the mouse is a little snug, so I HAVE to use their cable. Tried with another cable, and it very nearly got stuck. So just keep that in mind, any USB-Cs with a larger little bit right before the actual metal bit either won't fit, or will get stuck and make this a wired mouse.
right out the box it comes with 100% battery life. That battery life stayed at 100% even after 15 hours of gaming with RGB disabled during movement. Clicks are solid and the mouse is very breathable for sweaty hands due to the exoskeleton design. 11/10 for quality and battery life. Excellent fit in hand and its featherweight. A lot of compliments on the mouse and aesthetically appealing. I use USB WiFi feature but it also has Bluetooth and has a tether feature. Works ideally on neoprene, not very accurate on felt pad so beware of what desk pad you use. Love it, would buy it over and over. If the mouse is this great, I look forward to purchasing more products from gravastar. If you love gaming, this mouse is it. Even if it isn’t on sale, worth every penny.
