My rescued cat at 8.5 years old still has separation anxiety so it was so heartbreaking for me every morning when I’d leave for work. I’ve tried many things and found a few helpful solutions, the best being THESE greenies treats. I read to distract her with a treat as I leave so wanted something healthy that she’d enjoy that I didn’t worry giving her every morning. Since I heard greenies are healthy, I tried a package of these and OMG…. She LOVES them!!! So, I now order the large containers of these (note the regular greenies she’ll eat but she loves this crunchy variety) as I give her some every morning when I leave for work. She actually jumps up on my bed as I put on my shoes these days excitedly waiting for her greenies… praise God her desperate anxious meowing has been replaced with excitement for me to give her greenies as I leave. She still greats me at the door purring like crazy when I get home so eager to be cuddled but her anxiety has been significantly reduced … as long as we don’t run out of greenies. ğŸ˜Ĺ

My cat Mercedes used to love another brand of treats until a friend brought her a gift of greenies. Mercedes is picky about flavors, she doesnt like vegetables in her treats so I didnt think she would like something named "greenies", but she was given the chicken flavor and catnip flavor for teeth cleaning (just after I had bought a huge tub of the other treats, chicken flavor also.) When we ran out of the gifted treats, I thought she'd just go back to other brand, no problem, I have a 3lb tub of them. But no. She literally walked away from those and refused to even look at them. She was mad. She used to find the container and bang on it to tell me she wanted them, now it's like they dont exist. She ONLY wants the greenies. We just finished off the hairball control treats and my cats absolutely adore them! We just got these tuna flavored ones and they love them just as much. I have two very picky long-haired fur babies and these are the only treats they will willingly eat. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is I can’t find the hairball control option in the stores around me anymore. But if you’re lucky enough to have them in stores near you, buy them! Your cats will thank you and so will your floors 🤷‍♀️

Our vet told us to get Greenies to help with dental cleaning and hairballs. We have three cats, one of whom doesn't like anything - no treats of any kind, not any kind of wet food, not tuna - so we didn't hold out much hope that she would even try the Greenies. To our complete astonishment she LOVES these, it's like she's addicted to them as she's always pawing at the treat box whenever we're in the same room. (Our other cats loves these also but since there isn't a treat or food on the planet that they don't love, this wasn't a surprise). Target has a nice selection of flavors and the price is great compared to the vet's office. Three out of three cats recommend these and their staff does also.
I bought the tuna and also the chicken flavor indoor treats for my kitties. All 3 of them were vomiting abnormally after I gave them these. Since this was the only new thing we gave them, we stopped giving these to them. Each cat only got 3 treats each so it definitely wasn't the serving we gave them either. It was only 2 days but it made them so miserable. After we stopped giving these to them, they were back to normal, no vomiting and playful. Please use caution while giving these to your fur babies!
I have read from the responses that 'Healthy Indoor' is claimed to be the same as 'Hairball Control'.My cat has thrown up hairballs ever since the formula changed, whilst they were taking the 'hairball control' they did not throw up at all.I am sure 'Healthy indoor' is a good treat for indoor cats but it does nothing for hairballs.I don't know what happened with the formula change but please reconsider bringing 'Hairball Control' back, as you have a loyal number of cat owners who would be very grateful!
I'm not a fan of the newly branded Healthy Indoor treats replacing the Hairball Control. I have been giving my cat Greenies Hairball Control for the past 5 yrs and he has had maybe 2 or 3 hairballs in all that time. Since the switch over- he's had multiple hairballs in the last few weeks alone. It is not the same product. Now I have to try to find another brand for hairball control. I am very disappointed

I have the "new formula" and have not opened it yet, and after reading reviews of the "new formula" - I am wondering if it is going to address the "hairball issue?" My cat has inflammatory bowel disease and is already on a very special diet of gastrointestinal food, but these treats were working wonders in controlling her hairballs for "overgrooming" from time to time, and helping to control the vomiting, at least from the "hairballs" (not from other digestive issues?). The morning after, I found vomit but thought it may be a part of the process. 2nd day He vomited all the treats fed to him and stopped eating his regular food. By the 3rd day, he was no longer meowing, no longer drinking water and sleeping more often than usual. He makes gurgling sounds as he purrs and struggles to breathe. Please do not feed your cats these treats. It’s not worth the risk that you may end up in the small percentage of situations where your perfectly healthy cat may experience these side effects.
Why did you change the formula? What is wrong with you people? You have a product that is obviously successful; a product that consumers know works well and you CHANGE IT! Please bring back the original Greenies Smart Bites Hairball Control treats. My cats loved them and it did exactly what you advertised it would do. I hadn't had any hairball incidents in months because of the old formula but with the new formula my cats are barfing up hairballs left and right. Thanks for making me and my cats miserable.
