Unlike many other planters, this one comes with a base which can act as a reservoir for water. The thick steel and the corner fixing brackets result in a very sturdy construction that will last a long time. The size means they are easy to carry around and position before filling I chose this size because they will be positioned on top of tables to minimise the need to bend down. This is a good product and I recommend it.
