Greenworks Axial Blower 40V Battery

Never owned a leaf blower before and only just getting to know it. Will be useful where a rake is awkward. Looks good build quality and seems plenty powerful enough. Great advantage to be able to use the same battery/charger as my Greenworks hedge cutter and mower.

Best leaf blower ever

This blower is amazing. I previously had the smaller model and then got this one. We have a large garden and this does everything we need and then some. Can't fault it. Variable speed control is great too.

Green works blower

Wow what a great new toy. It’s clearing the many leaves from my driveway to prevent them blocking my water gully. Plenty of power, battery life is good. Saving me the hard job of digging wet compacted leaves out of the gully.

GreenWorks G40AB G-MAX 40V Cordless Axial Blower (Bare Tool)

Very happy with my purchase which replaces a corded type. The variable speed trigger and adjustable cruise control are great features. I currently use this for blowing dry/wet leaves from my pathways rather than from the lawn. I normally use a 2Ah battery, which just supplies enough power for the job, running the blower on lowish power, with occasional high bursts with the trigger when required. I found the advantages of not having a cord far out way the fairly short run-time of the 2Ah battery. It is much easier to pop out daily during the autumn (UK) for a quick blast rather than having the hassle (and danger) of using an extension lead. Very lightweight, especially with the 2Ah battery.

The blower is great, it produces a high pitched whine but less noisy than my petrol blower so it does not upset the neighbours. It's effective and easy to use. Not overly heavy and well balanced with the battery in place. For a large garden and drive its a good idea to have a second battery available.

Greenworks Leaf Blower is Small but Powerful

I ordered this through the app which was so easy to do and picked the location which was convenient to collect. When I collected it from the store the staff were very helpful and my Greenworks Leaf Blower was delivered to me in less than a minute. Great speedy service. My initial reaction when I saw the box it came in was “that cannot be a leaf blower inside”. How wrong I was when I opened it up and connected the main unit, the medium size tube and the small end attachment. Now it looks like a leaf blower. I already had a battery and charger so was good to go. When the battery was inserted it had a nice weight and was not too heavy. If you keep moving the trigger forward for maximum blowing power then I found it’s better from a distance and also blowing the dry/damp/wet leaves. If you move the trigger all the way down this keeps the leaf blower on which helps when doing a larger area. Also good for tyding up after cutting the grass from the patio or paths. There is a boost button on top and as the word describes it gives an extra boost of air on top of the maximum that is running already. I found this good for wet bits of moss that were sticking to the ground. This product in my opinion is ideal for a small/medium front and back garden and would highly recommend this Greenworks Leaf Blower to anyone that like me has a constant buildup of leaves lying around in the autumn time. I just wish I had got one years ago.

Greeworks Blower

Just love this product. Previously had an electric cord blower/ This is heaps better, lots of power and easier to use. Can get around the whole section really quickly, great for leaves and dirt on concrete. Can use the same battery as our Motormower.

Just what I needed

Prior to buying this I had a different brand lower powered blower. It was useless and barely blew leaves out of the carport. I bought the GreenWorks one because I already had their lawnmower and hedge trimmer and the battery is interchangeable. I am thrilled with it, it is lightweight and quickly moves leaves from anywhere on the property, even wet ones. I have since bought a GreenWorks chainsaw which also uses the same battery. I am very happy with all the GreenWorks products.

Fine for light work, e.g. blowing leaves, mulch, grass, etc off driveway and paths. Probably wouldn't be particularly good for large amount of wet leaves, heavier material. High setting is very good but sucks battery dry in a matter of minutes (like 5) so not really very useful.
