This is one of my faves to drink with anything! I'm someone that is very health conscious, but enjoys getting a little buzz going once in a while. Grey Goose is so smooth and satisfying and tastes phenomenal mixed with anything. It is quite pricey, however for the quality of the drink it is worth every penny. Goose is definitely a reputable vodka that many people enjoy drinking- plainly or mixed. I have drank this on many special occasions to casual nights out. If you're able to afford the vodka and want something to go for any occasion this is definitely one to consider. I think they could expand further on the flavor options, but the original is even good enough for me! I've even mixed Goose with Kombucha and it tastes ah-mazing! I am a social drinker only drinking on occasion. Grey Goose Vodka is a mid-range, common, yet quality classic French vodka, with incredible smoothness and having a palate of cracked pepper, liquorice and aniseed flavor when drinking it straight. Yet, it's flavor is not overbearing, therefore it is great for a myriad of mixed drinks such as my favorites: Martinis, as well as many different cocktails. Because it does not have an overpowering flavor, when drinking it mixed, whatever it's mixed with may be the star of the show. One of my favorite, simple go to drink is mixing Grey Goose Vodka with cranberry juice for an effortless, simple, cocktail. Yet when I'm in the mood for something a little bit sweeter, and less bitter, I mix the Grey Goose with cranberry juice ... MoreI am a social drinker only drinking on occasion. That giving the perfect mixture of color, flavor and vodka. There are so many recipes one can use Grey Goose Vodka with, which makes it very versatile in my opinion. One can make intricate mixed drinks, as well as simple one, two, three drinks Another simple way to drink it is with sparkling water with a twist of lime. As this particular vodka is very smooth, I can say it's very easy to swallow and an adaptable choice because it's easily mixed with different juices, liquors as well as liqueurs. I would recommend and or serve this to anyone looking for a smooth vodka.

I wish that Grey Goose had been the first vodka I ever tried; it would have saved me so many unpleasant vodka experiences! But naturally (like every good college student) I started with the harsh, cheap stuff. I thought I didn't like vodka, because I assumed every vodka tasted as bad as the bottom shelf stuff I was consuming. At long last, I got my hands on enough disposable income to purchase a bottle of "the good stuff," and I've had a lasting love affair with Grey Goose ever since! For those who've never had the pleasure of drinking Grey Goose vodka, I can sum it up like this: imagine drinking a glass of water, but the water has a slightly thicker consistency than normal, and it gets you drunk! I'd heard people talk about drinking vodka "with no taste or burn," ... MoreI wish that Grey Goose had been the first vodka I ever tried; it would have saved me so many unpleasant vodka experiences! Grey Goose is synonymous with "luxury" and is known for being "the best money can buy" because it simply is the very best vodka you can find. It's the Mercedes Benz of liquor, and like everything in life, you get what you pay for. If you're just looking to catch a cheap buzz, feel free to stick to the under $10 bottles. But if you're looking to impress a date, experience what life is like for the elite members of society, or just enjoy a deliciously smooth drink that goes down like a dream, take my advice and order the Grey Goose. You'll be glad you did!

For a fun thought experiment, buy a pint of Grey Goose, and a pint of your local "cheapest vodka, please," like Crystal Palace or Nikolai or Country Club or whatever. This is another product that is duping people through clever marketing and y'all deserve better. Save your cash. Also Kanye was wrong when he "mix that Goose and Malibu and call it Malibooyah," because it is not tasty that way.

I have tried many types of vodka and they are all mostly the same , strong smell and long burn when you drink it . When mixed with any drink you can always smell it and taste it . But with grey goose it is different . You can still smell it but it doesn't smell like rubbing alcohol . The smell is bearable and the taste is smooth . When you drink it alone the shot goes down smooth and does not leave that burning feeling as much as the rest . I like to have it in a mixed drink better than by itself . In a mixed drink you can not smell it as much as the others and it gives your drink a good taste instead of just a burning sensation and not being able to taste the ingredients in the drinks . I prefer it with pink lemonade . The sour taste from the lemonade ( minute maid preferably ) covers the alcohol flavor and makes the drink not even taste like there is liquor in it just takes it slow or the after math will be bad . This liquor sneaks up on you and you will not notice because the drink tastes so good. The price for the bottle is a bit high but worth the cost .
This vodka is crystal clear with no sediment whatsoever. When swirling, it leaves a thin clear coat on the inside of the glass with a scalloped edge developing. This alcohol, rather thin, with a light touch of vanilla. Not a whole lot of flavor to it, but makes for a decent mixed drink if you are not looking for added flavor. It has a touch of sweetness to it. Honestly, it tastes a lot cheaper than what it actually costs. It is odorless, tasteless and somewhat bland. The bottle is a tall cylindrical frosted glass ( the look almost everyone else has since copied) with a blue cap with synthetic cork. It is a highly recognizable vodka product and for that, I do respect the packaging. While Grey Goose is not a bad vodka, I do fond it to be over priced and overhyped. It ... I was pretty sure I was not a vodka drinker after my experience with a few different brands just left me with a poor after taste and not very enjoyable experience. That is up until I met my fiance who with some more life XP than me introduced me to "the good stuff". If like me, your idea of vodka comes out of a well known red bottle then order a bottle of Grey Goose now. No longer will you see vodka as this rough, get it down quick and question life's decisions later drink. Grey Goose is a smooth and refined vodka that you could drink neat from the bottle if you so desired (not recommended). It is a higher price point, but its worth every penny and Amazon will always be cheaper than your supermarkets, even when they have their offers on. We love it so much we've ... While I do agree that there is a lot of hype and that’s what’s made its commercially successful I still do think it’s a great product for my needs. Sure it’s expensive at $120, for a 75cl bottle in my city, but I find myself going back to it often despite being a youngster with no income. I solely drink vodka in cocktails and my most commonly consumed mix is that of ginger ale, vodka and some lime ,just cause how easy it is to make and for the appealing taste to me, and for this Grey goose is tremendous. Its extremely smooth and more or less imperceptible. Being young, I tend to gulp down my drinks very quickly and grey goose makes me feel like I’m drinking chilled ginger ale with no alcohol in it. It leaves no burn and gives you a good feeling a little later which is all I want from my vodka. Admittedly its popularity today is largely from the enormous hype and there might be more unique vodkas out there that pique your interest a bit more but if all you’re doing is drinking mixes at a party Grey goose is should satisfy you. Despite the heavy price tag, I find myself coming back to grey goose as often as I can for parties and I recommend it to anyone looking for a very smooth vodka, perfect for parties, and who has no issues with the price.
I was thrilled to be sent this to review by Ocado. It didnt fit in my freezer so I just chilled the bottle in the fridge. I already had a drop of a Dutch lemon vodka that cost about half the price of this one so decided to do taste tests (someone has to do it ). When tried neat there was quite a difference. A similar lemon flavour to each and not sweet like a liqueur, but the grey goose was so clean tasting and pure, very drinkable on its own, I found the other one was rough in comparison. In a cocktail eg. Cosmo, you may not notice the difference but as a shot (eg. lovely after a fish dinner) or with a single mixer, this would be my preference and worth spending the extra. Really lovely!
