Our grandchild actually chose these dolls from a page of Bella Luna toys we sent!The bright colors are so attractive to toddlers! The size is perfect for small hands!And, we (as grandparents) chose to include this toy on our list because of the quality. These rainbow dolls will provide many years of educational play since we purchased the matching sorting board with the dolls.

Since receiving these peg dolls about 6 months ago, my 3 yr old and 2 yr old have used these countless times in countless ways. They pretend they are their littles babies and put them to sleep, they use them in cars and on our Grimm's rainbow and in block houses we make; they even use them in pots with their kitchenette. We love the darker color of the cherry wood and that we can see the grain through the dye. A couple do have teeth marks on them after our 2 yr old put them in his mouth, but we expect these to last a couple generations. I love the smoothness of the wood and that there isn't any lacquer that creates a barrier to feeling this natural product. Also love the handy tray for keeping them together.

We love Grimms and so we had to have this set of peg people! I really want our son to have toys with various skin tones and while this is a step in the right direction, I wish there was more of a variety/range of skin tones. They all kind of look like a variety of Caucasian to me… Grapat does a better job in this case! Still a great set though that matches perfectly with the rest of our Grimms collection.

Colors are much richer in person! I could not decide what to order in terms of peg dolls, but am so happy with this set. The stock photo is hard to convey the beauty of the paint colors in real person and the grains of the wood. This is an heirloom treasure, and my son has played with these everyday since they arrived!
Originally I ordered something similar from Etsy, but they were too small and a total choking hazard. These are so much better! My 15 month old still puts everything in his mouth and these are too large to choke on.- perfect size. We also ordered the board to go with this. My son is not yet able to match the colors, but loves arranging the peg dolls in the boards holes.

My husband and I bought them instead of the regular Rainbow Friends because we don't want our daughter to think that pale white people are the standard, and the regular Rainbow Friends are SUPER white people. We were thrilled when the cherry wood set arrived; the figures are beautiful. However, after a few weeks of daily play, the stain has begun wearing off most of the peg people. I would expect some wear and tear on a beloved toy, but this stain is wearing off at an alarming rate. One doll's head has lost almost all its stain.We also purchased the wooden boat set that came with three regular Rainbow Friends from another store. My kids (2 and 4) love them! They are a hit.I wish that there were more pictures on the website that showed what you might receive. Staining varies among the peg people. Take a look. I will add, Great customer service!
My toddler loves these little figures! He has assigned names to each of them (using his daycare classmates as reference) and loves making up stories about his friends. We have rainbow wooden blocks that we use to build towers and have his "friends" climb them. So much fun!
These dolls are beautiful and sturdy, and the colors are very bright! I purchased them to go with the Grimm’s Rainbow sorting board and colors match perfectly. Together the toys make a wonderful color matching and sorting activity for my toddlers, and the dolls are great for pretend play too!
These make the most beautiful friend companions in any Waldorf play set! My daughter loves to push them around in cars, or even roll them on their side down a wobble board for some kinetic fun.
