I bought this thinking it was the answer to my car wash needs. However, the first time I used it I noticed that it left an amazing amount of water spots. I chalked it up to human error, and then the second time, took care to make sure everything was rinsed promptly, the correct portion was used, etc. Even worse spotting. Yesterday, was the third time and the white residue left behind is horrible. I must have a bad bottle because I cannot believe anyone would continue to use this product with the spotting and residue issues.

We recently purchased a new SUV. We took it straight to the detail shop for a ceramic coating. The technician recommended a foam gun to wash the finish. We bought the Griot foam gun and our initial 64 ounce container of Griot Brilliant Finish Car Wash. The results were so superior we ordered three more 64 ounce bottles to insure we would ever be without it. I also have a pickup truck with just regular paint and wax. Also used the foam gun on the truck with equal satisfaction. A couple of weeks ago my wife were sitting on the patio and decided to use the foam on the exterior windows of our home. Wow! Same great cleaning with just pre-soaking, the foam and rinsing. No scrubbing or drying. Happy wife happy life. Excellent product and applicator.

You may think I am petty, but I am serious. This is good wash, as good as any I have used. It washes well, rinses easily and doesn't leave a residue. No complaints there. I wish that was it I'd leave five stars. BUT. The bottle is horrible. Unacceptable. It's large, round, slick plastic and has only one finger indentation. There's no way for me to pick it up one-handed. The wash is slicker than greased owl snot, and when it gets on the outside of the bottle, well, it's a two-handed job for sure. I look like a toddler pouring milk on his cereal. It's a pain. I have dropped the bottle over and over. I actually broke the first bottle and left 80 percent of the product in a puddle on the driveway. Swore I'd never buy another bottle but received one as a gift. I bought this over a month ago and used some yesterday. I normally use the standard orange car wash and am very, very happy with it. But I decided to try this new one to see if the results were even better. I tested it on my convertible. I've always used a bucket and a wash mitt. With the orange, just one good squirt was enough to make the whole bucket foam! With this product, I probably used 8oz to get a good sud action going. This felt like a gentler car wash and I felt that it didn't get the dirt out as aggressively as the orange. I suppose I would use this product for 'in-between' cleanings when the car isn't really dirty.
Great car wash concentrate, I diluted this stuff out a little bit to use in my foam cannon, but it works really great. I was pretty impressed with how easily it got all the dirt off and stuff. I had a lot of road grime on my truck and the stuff easily got it all off. Also, it smells great, which is cool too.
I have been using Griot's Garage Brilliant Car Wash for at least three years now. I have three vehicles I wash regularly and Griot's does a great job removing grime and producing a shine that is hard to duplicate using other name brand car wash formulas. I only give it 4 stars because of the price, as it can be quite expensive compared to other brands. However, it does exactly what is says and it is one of the best car wash products I have ever used. As with all washes, be sure to hand dry your glass and chrome parts as soon as possible to avoid water spots.
Switched from using a competitors product for washing about 6 months ago to using Griot's Brilliant Finish Car Wash. The difference is night and day as the shine and luster creates a glass like finish after drying.At first I thought like many others that I was not getting enough suds when using the bucket method to wash with my water hose and spray nozzle. I have since learned that if I use my power washer to agitate instead of my hose, one ounce will give you tons of suds in your bucket.I now use it with my power washer and a foam cannon for a touchless wash and achieve great results everytime. Use to use Meguiars (nothing wrong with them) But I love the smell and foam I get from Griot's Car wash soap. It works great in their foam sprayer and also foams up bigly in a bucket when applying with a sponge. The smell is nice too, this wash soap leaves your car looking slick to the surface like you just waxed it!
Griot's products are typically top-tier with regards to their ability to work as advertised. Their Car Wash is no exception. I used it on a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country that had not been washed in over a year, using a power washer sprayer to distribute the soap. After letting it sit for a few minutes I used a microfiber wash mitt to go over the van, and the accumulated dirt and grime came right off.
I have used Griot's Garage products for years. When I saw the car wash I had to try it. It works great but the thing that sets it apart from all the others is it does not leave any water spots. I have a black car and I have always had to wipe the car with a shammy after washing it. Not any more. The car dries to a perfect shine. Highly recommend it.
