I paired this stick with an existing stick of 8GB SK-Hynix in my laptop, I should have ordered a pair as the RAM timing was mismatched with the existing stick. (Mismatched timing can cause issues with stability and reliability) fortunately the intel processor in my laptop has been able to handle the separate timings, without errors, but I should get another stick to ensure no issues down the road. I would recommend 2 of the same sticks to anyone looking to double their available RAM, some processors just wont play nicely with separate timings. it was more difficult to access the RAM bay than to install it, on my laptop.

Iβve been using this for about 6 months on my NUC i5 and have not had any issues so far, installation is a breeze, I already had one installed for a few years since I bought the computer so now they work in dual channel even when the older one has different brand chips on it , this is considered normal and happens with most manufacturers and wonβt cause any problems most of the time, wort case scenario you have to run them on single channel. Going from 8GB to 16GB is very apparent and makes Windows 10 run a lot better especially when multitasking so Iβm pretty happy with the purchase

C'mon, guys. We don't need product reviews on used RAM sticks. They don't wear out. They don't break down. There are no moving parts. If they are not broken they work just like they did on Day One.

One of the sticks went bad after only four months. That is the shortest amount of time that I have ever seen a stick of RAM go bad. Most RAM I've had lasts at least two years, even the cheap Chinese no names.
I have the ASUS GL702ZC, came with 1x 16gb Samsung memory. However there is a pretty significant CPU bottleneck when running in single channel. I gambled knowing this is a different fab than the one I already had, but they play nicely together. CPU benchmark went up 1000pts in Timespy, and gained an average of 15fps in Grand Theft Auto 5. 32gb of RAM in a laptop seems overkill but we don't know what the future holds. Worked out well since Asus locked the BIOS so there's no memory configuration so can't use higher than 2400mhz frequency RAM.
I first started buying this brand of RAM in 2014 for a brand new computer I was building at that time, and I was skeptical of course. But after the relatively good luck I had, I decided to try them again, and again and again... So far so good. They aren't super fancy, but honestly, if you need more from your RAM modules than just RAM, I'm not sure what to say...lol
Very easy to install. The ram seems to be good high quality and reacts quicker than my originally installed ram. No heat spreader which I like as it is less bulky. Good product at a very acceptable price for the increase in performance gained.
I had purchased a Dell Inspiron with 8GB of RAM. I have Manjaro Linux installed. Overall it seemed sluggish when opening apps and windows. Upgrading to 16GB of G.Skill Ripjaws memory really made a difference. As soon as I can afford it, I want to max out my memory to 32GB.
My 7050 came with one stick of 8G running in single channel. 4K was stuttering & programs were lagging. Upping to 16G in dual channel made everything run smoother. Success.
Installed this memory sticks in two of my Lenovo IdeaPad 330s laptops (with Optane memory 16gb and 4gb RAM). The first laptop recognized the stick almost immediately. The second one took much longer (almost a minute) but also recognized the new RAM. Thus I upgraded my system from 4gb to 8gb of ram. But frankly did not notice any significant increase in performance. Possibly because the laptops already had optane memory.
