Love this 'combo'. So easy to apply and remove, I really mean that....any novice could apply this, if you can put a sealant or wax on and remove that without hassles, this is easier than that. Plus, after its cured it will give amazing hydrophobic results. After speaking to Nick and getting his knowledge / ideas, this was a 'no brainer' for a car that will be outside in the elements. So happy with the results I'm now getting a another CSL combo and applying to my 'garage queen'. Thanks for your advice Nick, pleasure doing business with you.

This was easy to apply. Watching Jason's videos made it simpler to apply. It's all in the correction step. I had a newer car but still had some imperfections to care for first. This is the 2nd time coating one of my vehicles after seeing that others stated that CSL was easier to apply. By all means you still have to be cautious, but it was easier than what you would buy from the large E-Marketplace. I also applied 2 layers of EXO on top of CSL and love the results. And yes, it is ten times better than Wax or Sealants. I am happy that I bought this product and I am happy I bought it from Car Guy Supplies. I had to return what I purchased from Amazon because of the shelf life I received.

I applied this coating to my 6 year old Audi. The body now feels and looks incredible. Silky smooth, extremely water repellant, and a deep rich gloss has made my car look as good as the day it rolled out of the factory!Overall extremely satisfied with the product and support from Nick and the team at the Detailing Shed.It is worth the effort to decontaminate and prepare the vehicle's body surfaces properly beforehand.
Used this system on a few cars now. All turned out fantastic. Good preparation is rewarded when your gloss level turns out this good. Good value as a bundle. My usage is 50ml of crystal light (one coat) per car and 50ml of EXO4 (two coats) per car. You can get two coats of EXO4 per bottle as the crystal light has soaked into the paint and seals really well.
GTechniq Crystal Serum Light is a great light, base coating, setting up for an awesome more solid coating like EXO4 on top of it. It’s kind of the Kilz of car coatings. Serum Light is a solvent heavy, fast evaporating coating that is nearly fool proof. Does it give 80% of the durability of full coatings? No way. But it’s purpose is to lay down a high bond strength, solvent heavy “primer” coat and then use a product like EXO4 with more solids on top to give an amazing result. Keep in mind that the “professional only” coatings out there are designed with less solvent, have far more solids and are much thicker, but you better be experienced and careful with them or you’ll be sanding problems off your paint. I have had problems with this coating combination. Poor water spotting from rainwater occurs while the unprotected car parked next to it is fine. I find there is little to no chemical resistance with this coating. 2 consecutive vehicles have had failed coatings I have carefully applied these vehicles after 3 day details. Will not be using this again and will be speaking to Gtechniq regarding this.

Here is what I did which may help you jump in and do it too.- Prep, prep, prep. Foam cannon wash, dry, something to dissolve the iron deposits (there are lots out there) and then a clay. I preferred one of the new cloth based ones and lots of lubricant as I gently worked the clay cloth over the car. All of the contaminants disappear and the paint looks incredible.- My paint didn't need a buff: the clay did the work. I did do a quick polish but I am not sure I needed to after the clay.- Then use Panel wipe (I stuck with GTechnic) to prep. It dissolves in front of you but I used a ... Buy a Gtechnic 10 x pack of microfibres as you go through the clothes pretty quickly in my experience wiping everything off.- CSL onto applicator pad supplied in the box and onto panels. I bought additional Gtechnic applicators to be sure I had enough. The one supplied with CSL got a bit grubby and I had a back up to use.- apply in small sections 50cm x 50cm, wipe off immediately with 1 microfibre towel. Use second towel and wipe again. Number the towels "1" and "2" with Texta so you don't mix them up. . Repeat all over the car and don't go fast. Attention to detail will stop flashing which needs rework later.- then EXO on the top. Same process above but use 2 new towels (number 1 and 2 again). 2 coats go on and it takes a bit of time for this but you can do 70cm x 70cm sections and wait 1 to 2 minutes. again, take your time and make sure to wipe everywhere.It looks amazing when you finish!! this was my experience and I am happy.Last words of advice: prep meticulously (get it clean), buy all the Gtechnic gear (microfibres, additional applicators, panel wipe, CSL and EXO). You honestly can't go wrong as long as you buff it all off and don't miss any.Detailing shed shipped quickly and were great to deal with. I just ordered another batch of everything and am tackling another car next weekend. They shipped within 12 hours of ordering. Super quick!!

I got Crystal Serum Light after reading an article by a pilot who had the professional version applied to his old Bonanza. It came out fantastic. I had never heard of ceramic coatings before.Applying this version is not hard, but takes some time. It must be applied in small areas and then immediately polished with a microfiber cloth. To further complicate things, it must be done indoors, and then stay indoors for 11 hours. That is an issue for me because of my glider's 70 ft wingspan. The wings are in 4 pieces which I pulled individually into my garage and then returned them to the trailer it resides in. You need to wear surgical gloves ... CSL light is the easiest ceramic coating to apply.Take your time ensuring the polishing and correction stage is done correctly followed with a panel wipe down.Trick here is ensure your surfaces and work space is clean and for first time users read the instructions take your time and the results from all you hard work will be rewarded and your car will be well protected.Highly recommended adding GTECHNIQ EXO coating as a topper this makes the coating which is already very slick, even more slicker and the beading is incredible!
