Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Rosa Rossa Eau De Toilette Spray 75ml

So I’ve been eyeing this one for awhile now and finally got it. This is my 1st from the Allegoria range so I wouldn’t know how it compares to the others. The main selling point for me was the cherry blossom note in it. I would say that I can detect all the notes pretty well and the description of the scent is accurate. Just like you would expect, it’s an EDT so not super strong but, the scent is very pleasant. I do get the watermelon in the opening and a hint of grapefruit as well. As it dries down, it gets a bit more powdery floral and that’s when I can smell the cherry blossom. Absolutely love it for spring and summer in the daytime, I’ll enjoy wearing it for sure. Top notes: Litchi, Black current, Bergamot, Lemon. Middle notes: Rose, Peony. Base notes: White musk, ISO E Super, Cedar, Sandalwood. My review: Quite a soft fruity but green rose scent. It’s a light and fresh scent that you would want to spray on during a hot summer day. If you’re someone who likes floral, especially rose scent and want a fresh, non offensive scent, this one is a safe option for you. Performance: The scents from Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria line don’t last long in my opinion. This one is no exception, after 3-4 hours I can no longer smell it on me. Sillage: Weak. Occasion: This scent is an office friendly, daytime scent. I would classify this scent into the spring-summer, daytime scents category. Rating: 6/10

When I say this was the scent of my entire summer I absolutely mean it. I went into the Guerlain store and tested it after hearing Jackie Aina talk about it and immediately fell in love. I wanted to fill my tub with it and just soak in it. I wanted my sweat to smell like it. I wanted it to course through my veins. Then I snapped back to reality and bought it. I sprayed it on me all the time even though it’s very long lasting and I didn’t need to. I love the initial notes of citrus that quickly fades into a wet, juicy, fruity fragrance that just follows you everywhere you go. I could not walk into a room without getting a compliment on it. I’m in love.

Not my absolute favourite, but a wonderful citrus

I bought this about a year ago, and it's still serving me well. As someone who usually gravitates towards fresh florals, I thought I'd push the boat out with this citrus blend; I'm glad I did! A tangy orange top note with a hint of spice underneath, it lasts all day (in fact, it lasts until the next morning if you don't shower at night) and is the perfect citrus scent for summer.I will say that it's not my favourite perfume ever, but that is simply because I think fresh florals interact with me and my scent better. Nevertheless, it's a wonderful scent in a beautiful bottle - I now have my eye on the Neroli Vetiver!

Sweet and fruity long-lasting scent

I received this product for free from Influenster and Guerlain in exchange for my honest review.When I first saw the fragrance bottle with bees and honeycomb design, I thought the perfume was made with honey and the scent would be very sweet. I picked up sweet and fruity notes in this scent. It was very long-lasting because the scent would linger around for several hours and even days. Wearing this perfume made me feel mature and classy. I think the bottle is very nice because it has bees and honeycomb on it, making it feel natural and sustainable. The gold colour also makes it an expensive and luxurious gift, in my opinion.

I apply it on my pulse points—behind my ears, wrists, back of elbow—in the morning and I get a whiff of the scent throughout the day. It lasts even longer when applied on the clothes.And the scent is amazing for summer up to the transition to fall. To my nose, the opening is very citrusy, almost exactly like the smell of a freshly peeled orange. When I was testing this fragrance for the first time on paper, this was mostly the note I picked up, so I didn’t think much of the scent because it seemed somewhat boring and something that I can find in a Bath&Body Works scent. But I am glad I tested it on my skin and observed the wear throughout the day.
