We have used this product for years and we never had an incident with animals, which is good, considering the large amount of dead animals we've seen every day on australian roads. People need to understand that we should protect our wild animals and this product offers a very affordable solution, which also will protect your vehicle as well. This time we bought some more to give to our friends, as an attempt to save more lives.

I have used these for the last 10 years when driving overnight express down the Hume Hwy as well as travelling 120,000km around Australia. Have not even had any close calls.

Does the job it is designed to do. This was bought for an electric motorbike as the critters and birds can't hear it coming. Now they react and move. It's excellent. We have them on our car as well, it keeps the critters aware of our presence. No wildlife hits is a good thing.

I think this works. I hit one kangaroo in the past. After having this on the car I see the Roos going away from my car. Both Roos and me happy.
I bought these years ago and they’re still doing their job! Driven through the outback from dusk until dawn and never hit any wildlife- they hear them and it gives them a warning - best buy ever to save our wildlife
It is supposed to alert kangaroos and other animals to the presence of the car by emitting a high frequency sound. I haven’t hit a roo since installing it, but then I have never hit a roo in 35 years of driving, anyway. The manufacturer makes no claim that the product will prevent collisions with animals in all circumstances.
I've got these on both our cars and we live in an area with a lot of Kangaroos (see them most days). I've not noticed them being effective in any way and the kangaroos don't seem to be bothered by them at all. I would not recommend them and will not buy them again.
I have used these on my vehicle/s for many years, and yes they do what they are supposed to do! In my case and living in Canberra (The Bush Capital) early morning travels require a constant lookout for the abundant roos! On numerous occasions when approaching them, the Repellers do in fact deter them and they disperse back into the surrounding bushland. So yes, I would definitely recommend them, but be aware that they are a deterrent only!
So far, so good. I've been using them for a couple of years and no roo hits to date. Does it work? I can only go by the effect I have seen them have on some cattle. I would give it 4 stars if I was sure that any kind of shoo roo works 100%, but that, I can't do.
I know how can plastic doo-dads scare roos. I am not sure but they do work. I run these on all our bikes and cars. When you and your son are riding 2 wide and the roos are freaking out not wanting to move it was only when I pulled in left to right behind my son that the Roo left the road to the left. They will not stop side impacts but they do help travelling the rural roads and helps take the intense mental strain of riding hours after dark trying to spot the roos. ONE TIP..... CLEAN OFTEN. They have to be cleaned as bugs and dirt can affect performance of these whistles.
