Hey Halo,Just recently purchased a few skull caps for work to be worn under a hat or hard hat. They fit well and stretch to fit without putting to much pressure on my head. I find that the rubber band is somewhat uncomfortable after extended wear. Is there a way to remove this? Overall I am happy with the product and would recommend it. Good job Halo!

Great product. I sweat profusely and constantly had to wipe the sweat from my forehead and eyes. I used to carry an extra cloth for this purpose. Even the padding in my helmet would get soaked and contribute to the dripping. The Halo Skull Cap stopped all this and I can ride with much greater comfort with not having stinging eyes. I’ve rode at few hundred kilometres with it and now I wouldn’t ride without it.

I decided to try the skull cap to wear under my bike helmet. I thought an advantage of the skull cap would be to provide additional sun protection for the top of my head via the helmet vent holes. When I do long climbs I find sweat running into my eyes and dripping onto my glasses. On my trial ride with the skull cap I did have sweat forming on my nose and cheeks, but nothing ran down my forehead into my eyes and as an added bonus, I didn’t have any fogging up of my glasses. The skull cap was quite wet at the end of my ride so it definitely appeared to do the job. I will likely purchase a 2nd one to have as a backup.
I have been using this product when I cycle for 4 years now and I love them. I have 3 of them! They do a great job of deflecting the sweat away from my eyes and to protect my bald head from the sun. I noticed that you have an American flag version of the skull cap. When are we going to see a Canadian flag version? That’s what I would like for my next purchase. I think there would be a pretty good market for a Canadian version. Just sayin’
This is a must if you sweat a lot or have a shaved head.I had the nastiest helmet tan in the world after a summer of riding. This changed my life. Silly me, I only had the headband for the longest time to prevent sweat getting in my eyes but the whole cap was a game changer. This is required equipment if you’ve got a shaved head.It’ll prevent a nasty helmet tan, keep you cool, and keep your eyes stinging.
I bought one for myself this past winter while doing a lot of cycling in southwest Florida and it was amazing for keeping the sweat from dripping into my eyes off of my forehead. My daughter is undergoing chemotherapy and has lost her hair so I ordered one for her to protect her head from the harsh UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays under her Cycling helmet. She said it is so comfortable and she loves it also so we are both very very satisfied with our Halo Skull Caps and highly recommend them to everyone.
This an effective product that meets my expectation. Sweat in the eyes becomes a hazard when you are doing potentially dangerous work. So even though the Halo skull caps are relatively expensive, they are well designed and well put together, so that they are worth the price. An accident prevented has immense value.
I'll return, and do not recommend. My hat size is typically between 7.25 and 7.5, and this skull cap doesn't come anywhere near fitting the top of my head ... and miles away from actually covering my ears and offering any warmth under a cycling or climbing helmet. Quite disappointing.I have small textile frisbees for my 12 lb dog that fit better on my head. This one slides up and pops off due to infant sizing. Halo's attempt to to keep it in place with a rubberized friction strip is pointless.
I use it to prevent sweat from damaging my Meta Quest 3 when doing workouts in VR. The cap also prevents the Quest's top head strap from becoming soaking wet during intense workouts. The silicone seal really works! After working out I wear the cap for a short while in the shower to clean it and the torrents of water from the shower head get mostly redirected to the sides as expected. Much more effective than I would have expected. A good upgrade vs the Under Armour sweat band I was using before!
