This is a highly collected watch because it is just one of those things that doesn't age and is just cool. The first time you see a LED watch display it is pure magic. You don't forget it. I am so happy that Hamilton took this release seriously and gave it the proper attention this Legend deserves. Obviously the days of a digital quartz watch being a revolutionary technology are in the past and now they are cheap and commonplace. Today a digital watch that just tells the time seems almost laughable but it is a refreshingly clean and simple use of technology. A return to when technology did not overwhelm us and all of our senses but simply did one thing and one thing well. A return to when technology did not overwhelm us and all of our senses but simply did one thing and one thing well. I can't understate that the way this watch tells time is very much an intrinsic part of the time reading experience. Once you get used to it's way of telling you the time the more you enjoy it. I have owned a few LED watches and have always loved them for a while. There are two big fundamental flaws with these LED watches and the reason LCD watches replaced them. Those flaws were battery life and an always on display. Now I would have liked the OLED to be always on but in order to give us several years of battery life and reverse red lcd display is used and when you can't read the LCD you press the button to get the OLED digits backlit for several seconds like the original LED watches. It has the same look as the original with the reverse lcd always on when the backlit OLED is not used. It is pretty cool although there are times when the LCD is hard to read and the original Pulsar had a red crystal not a clear crystal. I prefer the red crystal. However the sapphire crystal is very well done. The case is extremely well executed and finished. Has a nice weight and feels great on the wrist. The PVD finish seems like it will hold up. The bracelet is really nice. The bracelet has links like an Omega and similar quality. Overall this is just a great watch. It is not cheap but it is an extremely faithful execution of the original Pulsar but improves the main flaws of those early watches. This is the only digital watch I enjoy wearing. This is now my main daily wear watch. Hamilton shipped fast. You can't go wrong!

I love that it’s strap is solid, not hollow like the original pulsar’ also I love how the time is always visible softly in the back ground, that will save the battery. I had one as a young boy and could kill the battery in a week. I will open this watch for Christmas (2022) and will judge it more. I love many certain vintage watches of many brands and I’m so happy that Hamilton made this watch to look like the original, but preforms much better that the original.

The Hamilton PSR is a great tribute to the original Pulsar released in1970. It is a very attractive watch, well designed and made to Hamilton’s high standards. The simplicity of showing the time using LCD and OLED technology is nice modern touch to a classic timepiece. I’m sure I will enjoy wearing it for many years to come.

Could be a lot more functional..

Cool watch, but no day date. The display is supposed to be on all the time and can be read In bright light, at a really weird position. Should have flick your wrist function to display the time. Maybe all this in the next generation??

The butterfly clasp broke after 7 months of intermittent wear. Tells accurate time, looks good, lights up just like the original P2. However, wrong instructions enclosed, only available online. It's taking months for them to fix the clasp, you pay shipping to them, even for a warranty repair. Apple watch is a better investment. Never again buy from these people way better value for my money. And, yes, it mimics the watch Bond wore in "Live And Let Die" during the opening scene.

I get that this watch will not have universal appeal, those of us of a certain age will remember the originals and may have been lucky (or unfortunate) enough to have owned one back in the day. The PSR is everything the original should have been had tech permitted and I for one am so grateful to Hamilton for having reissued this (imho) beautiful watch. It’s the first proper Looking at LED since the originals, hybrid LED/OLED is just like the original, sapphire crystal, 5 year battery life, if you like your LED’s then don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed. It weighs in at approx 140 grams so a bit of weight without being heavy and it wears smaller than I thought. It certainly isn’t cheap but I got a great deal on it so I can’t complain, the stainless version ... MoreI get that this watch will not have universal appeal, those of us of a certain age will remember the originals and may have been lucky (or unfortunate) enough to have owned one back in the day. The packaging is really nice but different from the stainless version, it has a retro vibe. I will no doubt rotate it with others in my collection but I can’t see myself flipping it, it’s iconic and it’s a keeper..

Very impressed. I’ve wanted one ever since launched & remember back in 1972 wanting one (despite being only 8!) and my parents buying me a cheaper Timex a few years later! Amazing quality & build. Only negative was the pins on the bracelet but managed to adjust it. So unique & a true collectors watch.
