My first two pair of straps were Harbinger before they had the rubber grip and I loved them. This is my second pair with the grip (first pair were over 5 years old and lost them) and theyre a little too grippy for me but I take them to a belt sander just enough to make them easy to maneuver around the bar. Obviously not everyone would do this (to each their own) but it didnt affect the durability whatsoever. I love these things and cant imagine how many of those hard-to-get final reps I would have missed out on over the years had I not purchased them!

I have owned these for a little while now and have not been disappointed. I use them for all manner of movements and find them to work in a couple different capacities. For one, they work very well as straps. I use them when I'm not concerned with grip training and just need to lift heavy weight for strengthening. Secondly, I like to use them as a wrist wrap. This obviously isn't what they're supposed to be for, but they work. Compared to other wrist wrap type products they don't take up a lot space on my wrist and I cant adjust them very easily. As long as you don't mind the strap being a bit in the way, it's not a bad way to utilize the product. The only complaint I would levy against these and it isn't the product's fault is a little bit of rust that has ... MoreI have owned these for a little while now and have not been disappointed. I keep them in a basement gym and it does get a bit humid in there. That being said, if you don't store them in what may be a humid environment, you likely won't have this issue. All in all, a pretty good product for the price and one I would purchase again if something went wrong with this pair.

I've had these for about one month now. It provides great wrist support. I found it tricky to get good strap support for my dominant hand (right) after securing my non-dominant hand but this may be a user issue.

qualitys good durabilitys good. but I go 585lbs up to 1035lbs on shrugs. Only movement I use straps for. for me they start slipping at 765 4th rep and by the 6th its all fingers doing the work. I chalked the s##t out the bar other day and they held up 11 reps at 765 but started letting go at 8 reps. if any 1 doesnt go this type of weight on shrugs or deadlifts ya golden. Im sticking 2 old school soft cotton straps.
Only useable for over over deadlift grip, once hands get sweaty they lose majority of their grip. Highly recommend the harbringer leather straps over these. The pads for wrists also are not that comfortable and tug in the wrong places.
Straps came a long way to this new no-slip Harbinger equipment. Recently, companies started using cushioning to save the wrists while pulling but that could made wrapping the strap around the bar clumsy. These are the best straps I have used (and I tested all models available, that's what I do).
I recently bought these after my long term STING straps became frayed. These new straps by harbinger are not the right product for me. I'm a female with small wrists and hands so it is challenging to grip the bar already and I still felt the material of this strap slipping from my hands during heavy deadlifts. Also, because my wrists are small and thin, the Velcro doesn't attach completely at times because it doesnt have much to attach to. It had come apart at the beginning of a lift in which I had to re strap and carry on. I'll still use these straps for back days and rows where I'm not pulling as much weight but I need something different to grip onto the bar during heavy deadlifts.
I purchased these when I lost my old cotton lifting straps. These were clearly designed by someone who doesn’t really use straps or lift anything heavy. The rubber on the inside for grip, which seems like a good idea, makes it so you can’t wrap them tightly around the bar, rendering the straps entirely useless for the purpose they are intended. Save your money, buy the generic cotton straps.
Love all other products of this brand. However with this product specifically I was not a fan of the padding around the wrist. It didn’t offer adequate padding when lifting larger weights which caused the buckle to dig in.
I bought these about 6 months ago. I only use them for deadlifts. Prior to these, I had been using the $12 version (also made by Harbinger) for the same purpose. I bought these mostly because they were the only choice at the store I was in (although I figured more expensive would mean better quality). Unfortunately, spending more didn't mean getting a better product. These are NOT engineered for heavy lifting. Please note that the strap is stitched on to the cuff. I was halfway through a set of 405 pounds when the stitches broke and the seam failed -- completely torn in two. Too late to get a replacement from the store. So, I'm going back to the $12 version (which is a sturdier, continuous strap with a loop at one end -- not as fancy looking but always held up, no ... MoreI bought these about 6 months ago.
