I have flat wide feet, always been hard finding boots with a steel toe that fit comfortably, I took a chance a couple years and got a pair of these, never looked back.Being a bricklayer my boots normally get covered in mud everyday, and Even still 10–12 months on the zip still goes up and down.Pretty impressive if you ask me and as for comfort there pretty amazing my toe doesn’t hit the steel toe like it does on Mack boots and all the other brands I’ve tried, I have had 4 pairs of these and continue to wear them even when I’m not at work and just doing stuff around the yard, and as for the price well this just simply makes the best boot going around, my feet are always in puddles etc at work and as long as there not submerged in water there fine also, I always ... Very pleased with my Hard Yakka 3056 boots. Will never buy boots without side zippers again. They are just perfect. I like how the stitching on toe is inset protecting the stitching from abrasion and how you forget they are steel capped. This is now my fourth purchase from Brandhouse Direct. Been wearing these flat-out for a couple of weeks now since getting them. New favorites.They're nice enough to pass as a casual boot, but the steel cap and zip makes them functional for general site works.If you need a boot with a lot of ankle support, or that can handle heavy duty applications though, probably opt for something more utilitarian. They are more casual than daily dirt and mud. Something you can wear with a nice set of work pants, but also tour a work-site in and be compliant.I do love the zip on these being angled and bulky though, it actually allows you to do your laces up tight and still get your foot in and out using the zip. I have had others that don't fit this bill.
These boots are great, they are stylish and very comfortable. I used to wear steel cap boots and shoes and the previous pairs from other manufacturer's ended up causing me plantar fasciitis. The way these boots allow you to tighten the laces to suit your needs and comfort is excellent, once you do the laces, set and forget because when it comes time to take off or put on, you just pull the velcro and unzip the zipper. I am so glad I bought them and I will buy them again. Buying them through Workwearhub has paid off too, I work in a commercial dispatch for a large Sydney based power tool company and Workwearhub have not disappointed me with the dispatch and delivery times. Purchased these boots after a number of recommendations and I must say the quality, comfort and design of the boot is great. I haven't had the chance to wear these at work yet which will be the real test as i'm in the entertainment industry (setting up concerts) but I have given them a little work out around the house and garden just to wear them in. I have a very wide foot and was very surprised at how comfortable these boots are. My toes have plenty of room under steel cap. I may even be able to wear thicker socks. I usually buy size AU 11 but bought the AU 12 . Very happy also as the flat sole makes it less boot like.

The shoe's lower half is great, the upper is poorly designed.The zip is annoying, isn't quite placed right to easily put the shoe on, and never stays up. The neoprene cover on top of the zip is a joke, doesn't do anything and is almost destroyed. The eyelets for the laces are a bad shape and cut through the laces. Laces have repeatedly worn out way too quickly.Shoe tread is worn flat, hasn't lasted very long and I've just starting to wear out the inner heel from taking them on and off.That said, its a very comfortable shoe to wear especially if you're on your feet all day and the wide toe is great, just wouldn't recommend on a construction site, ... i bought these bad boys a couple of weeks ago and have found them to be the most comfortable safety boots that I have ever worn. Their firm yet cushion-like inner soles are all about comfort; when taking them for their first spin I felt like I had worn them in already.The steel toe is exactly what you'd expect in terms of reliability from Hard Yakka, along with the anti-slip functionality.The beauty of these boots is I can wear them anywhere, whether it be work or recreation. They're tough enough to withstand day to day work, and aesthetically pleasing to the point that you'll want to wear them everywhere outside of work.Good one, Yakka. I'll be wearing these bad boys for years.
Purchased these for a skinny teenage son for helping out around the markets. He weighs 50kg wringing wet. Soles both came off on the second wearing. Hardly one hours use and they are falling apart. Totally unsuitable for purpose.
