Unfortunately it slides around inside the trouser pocket and is rarely in the knee position when you kneel down on the ground. Maybe I misunderstood the trousers styles that these pads fit. However, when manoeuvred into the right position they are very comfortable.

Hard yakka one of the best knee pads inserts you can buy to protect your knees. Ive seen the cheap rectangular knee pads slow deteriorate and break off bit by bit. These are contoured and feels like quality in the hands. For the tradie having to go on your knees often.. get yourself a set.. better yet.. buy a few as back up and each one of your trade pants. Also dont wash ur pants without removing the pads itll last the tad bit longer

I have worn the knee pads now for several weeks and I find them HIGHLY effective in cushioning the knees. They are easy to insert in the "Hard Yakka" trousers and so far show no sign of wear. It makes kneeling down for DIY or gardening less dreadful than it has been for me for a long time now. Wish I had bought them much earlier.
So lightweight. Using it makes kneeling easier for longer.
