Hario Hario V60 Ceramic Dripper - Red
Ceramic Coffee Dripper Hario V60-02 is a cone-style filter with a vortex radial drain pattern and an open end. The cone shaped paper filters help extend water and coffee contact time, because the water flows towards the centre. You can prepare two cups of coffee at once. This manual brewing method gives you the complete control over brewing time and temperature, so your coffee is brewed just the way you like it. A large hole at the bottom of the cone allows coffee to flow freely, so you can customize flavour and strength simply by adjusting the speed at which you pour hot water (pour rather quickly for lighter coffee or slowly for a darker brew). Use of ceramic Coffee Dripper "Hario V60-02". To prepare 320 ml of coffee: 1. Pre-heat both paper and ceramic filters with hot water.2. Pour out water. This will help minimize that paper-like aftertaste. 3. Add freshly ground coffee (20 g) into the paper filter (generally, a medium-fine grind should be used).4. Pre-infuse the grounds with 50 ml of water — the entire surface should be wet. Wait for around 10 seconds.5. Start by pouring the rest of water into the centre and then continue in a circular motion going upwards, follow the conical shape. This should be a slow pour. 6. After pouring the remaining water, wait until there is no water on the coffee surface and enjoy well prepared coffee.

I’m referring to the Hario V60/01. (1 cup). I’ve been working with both the V60 02 and the Kalita 185. I wanted a one cup device. The V60-01 does a great job. Took me a couple tries to get the grind from my Ode fine enough for the faster pouring 1 cup. Once there, I’m getting excellent results. I’m basically using the James Hoffman method as per his fine video. 5 stars.

I got the ceramic, it looks amazing, it is Akita ceramic but boy is it dangerous, it is a bit heavy when trying to swirl it around on top of a pitcher or flask. Would recommend a plastic clear for daily use, and use the ceramic when guest are there to see how amazing it looks. At this price, get one of each!

This is a very reasonably priced dripper. I like plastic because it does not cause much cooling during brewing. The red colour is attractive and looks to be quite durable. Along with the Hario filters I have made many good cups of coffee. There is a small learning curve with using a V60 dripper, but there are countless videos online that show how others are doing it. I have developed a pretty good routine which works well.

I love my Hario V60. Pour over, once you get it right, is by far the best way to enjoy coffee. My son broke my glass one, so I needed a new one and FAST. Prima did a great job of getting it out quickly and at a great price. Definitely recommend the V60 and Prima for your coffee needs!
Super light and very portable. Makes a good tasting cup each time. Value for money for sure!
I was intimidated since I heard the V60 is tricky but after a few tries and following Matt Perger's method, it is now my favorite way to make coffee (and I have a bunch of other methods/brewers)! I'm able to get more complex and interesting flavors and I use it daily. Some may think the 01 is small but I think it's great for better control and a perfect size since I enjoy individually making each serving.
I ordered the ceramic dripper but instead received the glass version with the plastic base. Was slightly disappointed but to avoid further hassle just decided to keep it. I used it on a biking/ camping trip, and while the trip itself was a hell ride (hello c&o!) The coffee wS much better than anything instant. Should have gotten the bigger size for 2 people but it is convenient for its size.
Based on others' reviews, I chose the 01 size, but I'm here to tell you that it's much smaller than a Melitta pour-over one-cupper. Also, the Hario cone is more, um, cone-shaped than the Melitta, which is narrower at the ends (the Hario is round). This means that the #2 Melitta filter refuses to settle down in the Hario, instead popping back out as if to torment you deliberately. Of course I could buy Hario filters, but I want something that's readily available in the supermarket. It would be helpful, Prima Coffee, to include dimensions in your product descriptions! I'm returning this and going with the next size up.
