This kit can produce amazing coffee, no surprise. V60 has been around, people know about it. I bought this bundle because i though a matching carafe would be good to have. This bundle is also great value.Best of all, I really like the carafe. It pours great, doesn't retain much coffee, and has graduated lines denoting volume of liquid inside (which are fairly accurate imo).Only removing one star, because promotional images make it seem like you will get bleached filter paper while you receive just the simple brown ones.

My Hario V60 arrived within a couple of days in exceptional condition (as you would expect for a brand new product).Because the Hario V60 glass brewing kit comes with all of the required utensils, including paper filters, I was able to immediately brew myself a cup. I wasn't expecting my order to arrive so quickly though so I didn't have any single origin beans around; instead, I reached for a bag of Humbler, a delicious espresso blend by Proud Mary.Although Humbler is usually a bean for milk coffee, I was still able to make a delicious filter using the V60, it produced a delicious chocolatey, full-bodied flavour that I would happily drink at any Melbourne cafe. The Hario V60 is an absolute magnificent method/system for brewing coffee and the v60 kit is just perfect for a starter like me. The design is awesome and so far I easily brewed a few of the best coffees I had in my life.Don't confuse the plastic drip for something bad. It seriously maintains the perfect temperature for when your go through the process.

Works as expected. Currently troubleshooting my coffee to taste better (somehow I've made it both too acidic AND too bitter), might be worth getting different papers as the ones that come with it seem a little thin and prone to clogging (could just be me!)All-in-all, worth the money.
Cheaper and easier to use than my Aeropress. Coffee taste nice too but can’t really say if there is a big difference compared to Aeropress; too many factors to consider.Delivery was quick including replacement of item and response from Alternative Brewing.Overall satisfied with the transaction.
I love my new Hario V60 pour over kit! I purchased this kit for use at my coffee shop, and my baristas have gotten great use out of it so far. The Hearth mugs were a nice bonus. They are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and delicate, yet durable. I received an extra set as a holiday gift (a pleasant surprise). They make a great addition to the cafe. This was my first purchase from EP, and I'll definitely be ordering again soon!
It may take a bit of time to nail your everyday pour over with the V60, but it's a great brewer to start learning with. It's handy, lightweight and easy to clean. It produces a nice, clean up each time. The plastic version is inexpensive, too so that's a plus.
My first V60 broke so this was a direct replacement. It brews just enough coffee for two plus a cup or two extras. The filter papers are plentiful and high quality, and the paper taste does not transfer to the coffee. The output is a clear cup of coffee just the way you like it (strong or weak depending on the amount of coffee you use).
I would highly recommend this for anyone who want to try pour over at home. The 2 cup size works well for one - 3 people. A tea towel around it keeps it warm for a surprisingly long time.A hint for choosing scales, with a integrated timer - Check that the timer is not triggered by a sudden weight change. Or it will be interrupted when stirred or swirled and can be frustrating with some recipes.
