I absolutely adore this filter. super easy to use and it makes for a fuller, rounder cup than the original paper filters - best one I ever brewed indeed. some folks mentioned that it drains quicker than the Hario ones; I still reach the desired 3 minutes mark with the same medium grind as before by just pouring a bit slower and keeping a lower water level. For a weekly deep clean I found normal citric acid to be perfect: just soak the filter in hot water with a little bit of said powder for a while, rinse thouroughly with cold water afterwards and it almost looks like new again and leaves no aftertaste. Shipping was also lightening fast: from Hawaii to Hamburg/Germany in just a week!

I bought the stainless steel cone with the silicone base. It's a terrible design and I got burned severally as a result! Not to mention a huge mess! The silicone base is solid enough to support the stainless cone full of coffee and boiling water at first, but as the steam from the hot coffee begins heating the silicone base, the silicone becomes softer and can no longer support the weight of the stainless cone full of coffee grounds and hot water. As I was adding more boiling water to the cone, I watched the cone slowly beging to tip over from the weight of the added water and the fact the base had heated up and become soft. To keep the cone from spilling down the front of my body, I attempted to catch it. I couldn't quite grab it in time since I was adding boiling ... MoreI bought the stainless steel cone with the silicone base. It's a terrible design and I got burned severally as a result! I got third degree burns this morning instead of coffee.

Hello. No, my order arrived in a good time. Tried it yesterday and today, and decided it was not my best purchase simply because, with arthritic hands and using it with a French press, I just didn't have enough hands! Perhaps I used it improperly, or perhaps it was for a more traditional coffee pot, but I just had trouble; pot drips enough as it is, having one more thing to deal with seems unnecessary. BUT, the idea is wonderful - have had it multiple times myself - but I just was not the best candidate to rate your product. I'm very sorry - and I will use it anyway, for a while, with the hope that I'll get used to the rhythm involved. It was well made, the fabric looks as if it would filter tiny things and won't fall apart anytime soon. I hope this helps.\n\nShari

First of all, FRC offers this awesome thing at a fantastic price. After using chemex for many years, the V60's design is wonderful. It's easier to reproduce a consistent cup due to how evenly water is able to pass through it. Hario's offering is easier to clean, of course. The filters are generally cheaper than chemex's as well, and less wasteful since they're both smaller and thinner. What's not to like!
I had been using a Bodum pourover for 3 years prior to buying the Hario. I had always been a little bit disappointed with it's slow extraction and "clogging"Decided to buy the plastic Hario v60 on Black Friday, and it has solved every one of the complaints I had about the Bodum. I opted for the plastic over the ceramic due to the heat retention that the plastic offers, and have been heating it up with hot tap water before starting my pourover process. I am very happy with it, and most importantly, the coffee I'm brewing with it is exceptional.
I purchased the Hario V60-02 Ceramic Coffee Dripper. I have one although needed a 2nd one for when I have company. I love this pour over method. Delicious cup of coffee every time. I also purchased an Aeropress which my family loves to use as it requires less attention than the Hario method. ECS is a dream to deal with. Pleasant staff, efficient service and lots of stock to chose from. Definitely recommend ECS Coffee for their excellent customer service.
This well made, sleek and stylish, made in Japan V60 dripper is perfect for my needs. I use this everyday and haven't touched my French press, or other pour over in weeks. I really love the design of this, straight into the cup, compact and sleek, easy to clean, and tastes oh so good! Would definitely recommend and even gift this to someone. In case you wondered, my other pour over is a double wall cork Bodum
This IS NOT a pure copper brewer. Instead, it's a copper-plated brewer with a stainless steel interior and a brass handle. There are three different metals going on here (four technically if you consider that brass is an alloy of copper and zinc). That said, it still looks great in your kitchen and makes a fantastic cup of coffee. As of this review, the current price is $106 for the copper brewer vs $11 for the plastic Hario V60. Does it make coffee that's $95 better than the plastic one? Not at all. Buy it for the looks.
This was my second Hario V60 coffee dripper and I loved it! I used the first one every single morning for over 10 years before it finally broke. I was very excited to get this one and enjoyed the heck out of it for several weeks. Then, unfortunately, I dropped it on the kitchen floor and it broke into a million pieces. I will get another one. I'm saving up to replace it now (it's not expensive but my budget is tight). Just know that I love this coffee dripper enough that I have a French press, a moka, 2 other coffee drippers of different brands.. and even though I use all three right now in rotation while I'm waiting to buy a replacement V60, they never measure up. A V60 wins every time! Prima is just a few minutes away from my home and I would not buy one anywhere ... MoreThis was my second Hario V60 coffee dripper and I loved it! My sister uses these and bought me one years ago for Christmas, at the time I thought it was the dumbest gift I've ever received, but after making one cup of coffee I realized why she got me one. It makes amazing coffee! I've used a few different brands of pour overs after initially breaking my first one dropping it on the floor, but I always come back to these Hario. This is the third one I've purchased and if I break this one I'm going to buy another Hario hah. I like the porcelain more than anything else, I've used plastic (camping) stainless and ceramic. These are hands down the best in my opinion.
