I’m referring to the Hario V60/01. (1 cup). I’ve been working with both the V60 02 and the Kalita 185. I wanted a one cup device. The V60-01 does a great job. Took me a couple tries to get the grind from my Ode fine enough for the faster pouring 1 cup. Once there, I’m getting excellent results. I’m basically using the James Hoffman method as per his fine video. 5 stars.

The Hario V60 is my favorite among all the coffee brewing equipment that I own, which includes a Yama siphon, Chemex, Beehouse, Aeropress, French Press, and V60. It allows me to make great coffee regardless of the bean origin and also makes an excellent Japanese Iced Coffee. With some practice, the V60 can produce an amazing cup of coffee.

I have a ceramic V02 and a olive wood glass v01 as well but this is now my daily driver for these reasons:1 - it's light and can take a beating, unlike it's ceramic and glass cousins2 - it's one piece(unlike the glass ones) and the base is really wide so you can grab it and spin for agitation3 - it's quick to heat up4 - it's a lot less money! It's pretty awesome :D

This is a very reasonably priced dripper. I like plastic because it does not cause much cooling during brewing. The red colour is attractive and looks to be quite durable. Along with the Hario filters I have made many good cups of coffee. There is a small learning curve with using a V60 dripper, but there are countless videos online that show how others are doing it. I have developed a pretty good routine which works well.
I have been using the Hario V60 for a week as an alternative to my broken Chemex. Though it is smaller than I am used to, I have been able to make 6-8 cups of iced coffee with ease. The cost is reasonable and the plastic model is lightweight and durable. The design is functional and attractive. It is a great option for those who want portability or for those new to drip brewing who don't want to invest in more expensive equipment. Highly recommended.
I own a couple V60s, with the V60-01 being my favourite. I just love brewing with it!Other than it makes great coffee, it’s extremely affordable and I don’t think you could break it if you tried. I prefer brewing on the plastic V60s as well over the ceramic model.I couldn’t imagine my coffee bar without this brewer on display!
The Hario V60 may take some practice to master, but it's worth it for the savings on coffee and the ability to make a perfect cup. Once you get a good pour, it's a nice sweet spot. I was a little bit on the bitter side at first, but it didn't take much effort to correct with trial and error and checking out videos for tips. It saves on coffee when only brewing for one person, I personally save around 10 grams a day and it's great when using expensive coffee. I would definitely recommend going with the plastic option as it helps maintain the temperature of the coffee. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.
I purchased two Hario V60 pour-over drippers a month ago, opting for the plastic version. I have found that it brews a smooth and rich cup of coffee without the slight sourness that I experienced with my French press. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and enjoy my daily morning cup more than ever.
This was my second Hario V60 coffee dripper and I loved it! I used the first one every single morning for over 10 years before it finally broke. I was very excited to get this one and enjoyed the heck out of it for several weeks. Then, unfortunately, I dropped it on the kitchen floor and it broke into a million pieces. I will get another one. I'm saving up to replace it now (it's not expensive but my budget is tight). Just know that I love this coffee dripper enough that I have a French press, a moka, 2 other coffee drippers of different brands.. and even though I use all three right now in rotation while I'm waiting to buy a replacement V60, they never measure up. A V60 wins every time! Prima is just a few minutes away from my home and I would not buy one anywhere ... MoreThis was my second Hario V60 coffee dripper and I loved it! These are good, inexpensive Hario pour over drippers. The plastic ones do not require preheating like the ceramic models. I bought a 02 size and a 03 for larger batches. Both are going to see a lot of use.
