Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban

Came in horrible condition usually the book are pretty good but this book came scratched, dirty, the writing had washed off, ripped and with stickers on it saying there’s a price tag underneath. So disappointed, and I bought them for a gift too. I bought the book in “very good” condition too.

I read these books as they came out as a kid. I reread them as an adult, and they still hold up. Book Three continues to introduce new magic, as well as beloved new characters, the Marauders. Harry, a third year, returns to the wizarding world to find out that notorious criminal Sirius Black as escaped from prison. As the school year goes on, Harry learns more and more about the man who was Voldemort’s rumored right-hand man- and how the mistakes and bonds of the past continue to affect his present. The pace is past and the world is intriguing. Lewis, Madeleine L'Engle, or J.R.R. Tolkien. This is a very fun, humourous, and enjoyable fantasy novel, and one that should be read more than once!

very addictive and fantastic! Love this Harry Potter series great plot development, character death . build your imagination . it's magical! great emotional impact and you can't put the book down. fast paced and thrilling!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is a fantasy book. The book follows Harry Potter in his third year at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. The book begins with Harry at the Dursley's house. Yet again there is a lot of action surrounding his escape from their house, you will be in for a surprise when you find out how he does it this time. Harry show off his excellent Quidditch skills again. The book introduces us to an enigmatic new character; Sirius Black. Along with his trusted friends he uncovers the truth surrounding his parent's deaths. Harry is loyal, brave and quick thinking. I would love to be his friend and go on the adventures with him. A good buy

I bought all the illustrated books recently and randomly decided to start reading this one first. I do like that this is actually the British version of the book - using their punctuation style, words, etc. It was fun noticing those little changes, like "course schedule" in the US version being "timetable" in this one. However, I was disappointed by the lack of illustrations. There are often long stretches of pages with no pictures, or with little tiny pictures in the corner or throughout the page that are really not important to the story. I am only halfway through this book, but I was surprised there was no illustration of Christmas at Hogwarts or the Firebolt. Absolutely unforgettable.A MUST read

The 3rd installment to this 7-part series undoubtedly delivers a mix of nostalgia and engagement never seen before in a children's book. An ability to captivate a range of audiences from children to adults is what makes Prisoner of Azkaban undeniably the best Harry Potter novel thus far in the series. The perfect balance of refresh and recount is met by Rowling throughout the entirety of this book. Introductions to new characters such as Lupin and Black prove to be a welcome addition to this beloved series. This strong 3rd novel in the series leaves readers with no choice but to continue with the series.

Beautiful pictures

The pictures are so beautiful and accurate. I read all theses books Growing up and sometimes I was disappointed while watching the movie since something’s didn’t reflect the book (happens to all books right?). Slowly getting all the collections buying them on discount. The only problem is the discount sticker will be on the cover but is easy to take it off. Can’t wait to have them all!

Scary, Ghoulish Illustrations

I’m so glad I read these books as they came out with their charming chapter illustrations. This version is awful! The pictures have no joy, just are scary and each character is decrepit. No, no, no.
