Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone (Racksize Edition)

I read these books as they came out as a kid. I reread them as an adult, and they still hold up. Book One provides a great entry into the series for young and old readers alike. Harry, a young orphan, discovers he’s a wizard, and goes off to magical boarding school. There, he makes great friends, plays wizard sports, battles a troll, and ultimately faces one of the most infamous wizards. The pace is past and the world is intriguing. If you are coming to this series for the first time, especially if you are introducing this series to a young person, I recommend reading up on JK Rowling’s transphobia and issues with the series in terms of stereotypes and lack of diversity and consider how these beliefs are conveyed in the book.

I love these harry Potter series and this book was actually my turning point in reading not that I did not read before that but I was attracted to series and trilogy after reading this I’m excited to give this set to our neighbor and classmates for them to enjoy and return. I have been wanting to read the whole series for a while and I am very pleased with the quality of this paperback set for the price. I expected mass market paperback quality considering it was priced apt.Always one of my favourite fantasy fictions. The box set was finely packed and the best gift I could give myself to survive this lockdown. No complaints, go ahead and indulge yourself into the best of worlds reading these books for knowledge, entertainment , vocabulary.

Absolutely beautiful and so fun!

I bought this as a gift for my 10 year old daughter, who has seen a couple of the movies but not read any of the books yet. She loves books, and she was so excited when I gave this to her! Not only does she love how it looks, but she said that it's one of the most amazing presents she's ever gotten. She told me, "You know how sometimes you go over someone's house and you see something that they have, and you think, wow that's a really cool thing? Well this is something that if I saw it at somebody's house I would definitely think it was SO cool and want it. It's the best book ever!" She has been reading it non-stop.10/10 recommend- great quality, wonderful interactive components, and speedy delivery! We will definitely be buying more from here.

Disappointed

I wanted to love these books. We chose to invest in these for my son ( and his 2 sisters coming behind him) over other illustrated versions of Harry Potter. Upon first glance they are great! They are beautiful, pages are good quality, and pop up features are very cute. But after very normal wear and tear from opening and reading and putting in and out of a backpack, these books covers begin to shred. We bought 2 of them and they both did the same in a very short amount of time. It is very disappointing because I thought these books were going to be keepsakes for them and would be able to be used by my other kids. My Favorite

Literally stunning copies ! These copies are interactive & so much fun to read to children! Every few pages there is a new interactive page that brings these stories to life! The art on the pages is absolutely stunning. Adults and kids both will adore this fun artistic twist on an all time favorite book. It makes for a great gift too! I like that it comes wrapped in plastic to insure that your copy is completely untouched!

Perfection

I bought the first 3 books and will definitely be buying all of them. Each page is a work of art. The illustrations are vibrant and beautiful. The covers are gorgeous and sturdy. They were very well packed and wrapped in plastic (we have been getting rain and they were nice and dry).The Hogwart’s letter is 3-D and unfolds so you can open it and read all of the details. Excellent craftsmanship.

Please do better

The book came cling wrapped which was nice but my books came damaged in shipping. My nearest target is an hour away which is why I ordered them to be shipped now I have to drive to return them. It’s really inconvenient and frustrating. The books being damaged because of not packing them properly really hurts my book lover heart. Please fix this issue target I love buying books here you have great prices.

Wonderful!

This book is amazing! Lovely illustrations, fun interactive cut-out pages, and a heavy feel. Printed on high quality stock and the cover art is fantastic. The illustrations run throughout starting with front cover running to the back. Has the complete unabridged text. This is so much more than the original hardbound copy I have. I can't wait to get the rest of the series!
