Overall a nice piece, as usual with Hasbro. What I love about this piece is the detail and the look. What I don’t like...the detail. Let me explain, The detail in the face and hands is phenomenal the musculature overall is on point but..why was that detailing and molding skipped on the boots and the rivet on the shoulder piece needed a little more “pop”, the gauntlets more detail and paint selection was Very good not great.I also love the the extra skull and the cape is also very nice on this figure.I would give this one a B-

This figure is huge. Looks awesome as the center piece of mundo age of apocalypse display. Bigger than all the other figures. You have to get him if you don’t have him. You won’t regret it. Vibrant colors and dope little human skull he comes with. Thanks Best Buy.

Solid figure, well done.But this is my fourth Apocalypse, and there's just nothing really distinct about him. All the parts have been either used before, or seem like they'll be used again very soon. He is a very serviceable figure and I recommend him to anyone in need of an Apocalypse for their collection, but I judge based on how long I fiddle with a figure and he didn't last long.Plus, for all the genericness why didn't the skull come with a peg hole? It's a skull, it's meant to attach to a neck.
Apocalypse is a very sweet figure to own, this is much to the design of his Age of Apocalypse design. I did not have an Apocalypse figure and needed it to have in my collection, so grabbing this guy wasn't a difficult decision to make. Great details, and I love the skull that can be held in his hand. Makes me think of a Shakespeare play of Hamlet.
Great Marvel Legends action figure with more than 20 points of articulation. It has a great body sculpt and is quite accurately colored. A great addition to one's action figure collection.
Apocalypse from Age of Apocalypse , another awesome and brilliant story in the X-men's long history. This figure embodies the magnitude and awe of the story, he's big , he's beefy and he's one badddddd man / mutant. The figure is a steal at 30$... if you are in the collecting game or buying figures for that special kid in your life, you know figures this nice and heavy go for a bit more with other companies and brands so be assured this figure is worth it.
I was very happy with the recent BAF Apocalypse and hesitated buying this, but since I already started getting the ML AoA figures, I guess I needed this one.That said, I'm glad I did. The paint on this is striking, I love the shiny metallic look. The heads are both really cool, Im not sure which one I'll want to display. Even the paint app on the skull is impressive.Decent poseability for a big figure, except for that flippin plastic cape. WHEN are going to get CLOTH capes like the old days?! Yeesh. Any who, the cape is removeable and Apocalypse still looks cool without it.My only gripe is that the ab crunch is a LITTLE lose, but other than that this is a spectacular figure.
Overall great figure! Glad to have Age of Apocalypse figures in the line! Please keep 'em coming. Sculpt and paint are perfect. Just had to give 4 stars because the ab crunch was pretty loose and it'd be nice if we can get cloth capes on Legends figures. Thick plastic capes limit poseability and make it difficult for figures to stand on their own, especially female figures. Thank you Hasbro!
Excellent figure overall. Great head sculpts. It is a pretty bulky figure but with excellent flexibility and articulation. The colors are vibrant and help give the figure some pop. The only complaints are that the cape does not stay on well and tends to get in the way, and the shoulder armor is somewhat awkward.
