Hasegawa 1/48 A-4M Skyhawk
Hasegawa continues their series with the last US Skyhawk variant, the M. Purpose-built for the United States Marines, the M featured a more powerful engine, more advanced avionics, and better pilot visibility thanks to a redesigned canopy. This kit builds into a later M, with the pod on top of the vertical stabilizer and all the bumps and antennas around the nose and exhaust. Markings for two aircraft are included, both hi-vis, one from VMA-331 "Bumblebees" with a striking black and yellow rudder and vertical stab, and one from possibly the most famous Marine squadron, VMA-214 "Blacksheep", made legendary by Pappy Boyington and his band of misfits in WW II. Of course, Pappy never flew a Super Scooter, if he had he would have had more than 28 kills!

I said it wasnt durable because its a plastic model kit. Otherwise it is exactly what Ive been trying to find. Great detailed kit of a Cold War era USN and USMC attack bird

Doing a quick review of the parts this kit looks very nice for detail and a dry fit of a few of the parts shows a nice fit.
excellent and detailed kit, worth the price. parts fit well, it's easy for beginers yet fun even for skilled modellers. only con is the lack of pilot figure and weapons ordnance, kit includes only drop taks. anyway, with some aftermarket parts can be turned to awesome airplane.
This aircraft model is still in the box! After inspection of parts and assembly instructions, I can’t wait to get started on it!
The BEST 1/48 scale MD (now Boeing) A-4M Skyhawk II model kit on the market. If you desire to build the best A-4M, this is it. Highly recommended.
