I’m on the road frequently and so watering is left to the whims of 6-15 yr olds! Sometimes with the old can, filled with water, a smaller child would “wash away†some soil in the watering process. The Haws Handy has eliminated the hollowing out of soil from a heavy rush of water and weak muscles!

Produces a very gentle, fine shower that does not dislodge the seed raising mix- the small brass shower rose, which can be removed, means that you can water punnets individually and not have water going everywhere else, as happens with larger watering cans. I had been using a metal watering can from Bunnings ( probably 2 litres) with a metal rose, but within 6 months the section below the thread for the shower rose gave way, with the thread still attached to the shower rose, but not the spout - still useable but not for showers. Sage green colour is lovely. I bought it for the greenhouse outside, but another one for indoors is now on my list. This can is perfect for watering young or small plants and seedlings. The "on can" storage for the rose is inspired - no lost roses! It's easy to control the water flow so it's particularly good for watering plants on surfaces that should not get wet.The volume of water held is less than 500 ml so it isn't for larger plant watering. I grow a lot of seedlings in spring and have 3 of these cans so that there is always water at room temperature. I bought one can more than 5 years ago and it is still OK (although I think the plastic is of a different kind). This is important to cut down on plastic waste.

I have been using these cans for some years. The only niggle is that I have so many plants that I cannot see the can for looking. At last a brightly coloured can that I can see at a glance - wonderful! I bought two cans one for my husband and one for me. We are well pleased with them and now so much time is saved, as we aren't searching for a dark coloured can amidst the foliage. Holds just the right amount for watering cuttings and seedlings and works well with and without the rose. Would recommend.

I love this bright and cheerful watering can! My Mum has had a Haws watering can for years and I bought one for my daughter a couple of years ago, so I know it will last and not dribble. It's great that it's made from recycled plastic too
I already had one of these, bought from a high street shop but, when I decided on another couple for elsewhere in the house, I decided to buy online. Buying from the Haws store was the best deal available so look no further.I love the design and the option of a sprinkler which clips on to its own little holder on the spout when not in use. The blue colour is particularly lovely.

Very good watering cang. I had the same one years ago , but a different colour. I would recommend your company to anyone. This watering cang has a brilliant update. The rose fits to it and another good idea is all the colours it is available in. It poors water beautifully.
