I actually bought a Head IG Extreme raquet with free string and picked the Head 18g Hawk.As both the head light raquet and polyester string are new to me, my comment will be somewhat subjective. My raquet was strung at 55lb and I feel string bed is very soft. It is very comfortable and easy to control the direction of ball.I also highly recommend the 18g polyester string, which is good with polyester that give you durability, feel and spin.

I usually play with RPM 16g strings - but because I also purchased a racket the Hawk strings were no charge. I figured i could try the strings because the price was right. If I didnt like Ill get it restrung with my ususl. Overall Ive been pleasantly surprise do. Nice feel at the net and generated a decent pop when going for a winner down the line.Where I feel it doesnt measure up to the RPM is generating topspin . I notice this right away from my baseline shots sailing deep and not biting the back line.

The quality of the tennis string is good. But the string pull on the tennis racket is not good.

Good strings. Very good deal if you get these for free when buying a head racquet. Good spin and control. Low power and slightly stiff for any new players.

It does the job. Not great but not bad either. Head boom racquet was strung to 52 pounds but I believe the warehouse string it at about 48.

Good pocketing and spin, tension maintenance ok

This is what I was looking for as a poly cross in a hybrid. Very slick coating. Tension maintenance about average for a poly.

I've been using these strings since two or three years ago. They're very resistant mostly with this weather (UK) and give me control and at the same time I can hit the ball with a lot of weight and topspin.

When a string offers the perfect balance between control and explosive power, it's called HAWK. The crystalline core of this monofilament string has a positive effect on control, while the outer molecular chains influence power. A unique manufacturing process, the innovative Crystal Core technology, guarantees the perfect balance between core and outer structure. The string is extra durable and has high spin potential. The perfect choice for very good tour and tournament players. After all, a lot of power also comes with a lot of responsibility!
