The product itself is fine, they are good quality broad beans, the problem is they are broad beans, I just find no enjoyment in eating them.. Get if you like them, you will be happy with the product.
These are great, they’re podded, but not shelled as the pack implies. Maybe it’s the other way around but there’s a leathery skin or shell that should be removed for a more pleasant experience.
Excellent quality at a great price. Their fresh season is too short so these are an alternate 'must have'. I shell these and serve them with chopped dill and yoghourt. Delicious.
Heinz beans broad are tender and delicious. They're quick to cook in very little water on top of the stove. I'm so glad I found them.
The product is fine. Its just that they were almost thawed when I got them. I know that they're in transit and it takes time. When I buy at my store I pack frozen foods in special bag and go straight home to the freezer. We need to keep the cold chain working.
Hubby loves them. Nice to have something different occasionally. Better than trying to source fresh.
