Ocado send this for me to review this product and I'm so happy they did. I normally use mayonnaise few times a year when I have burger but this was so good that I actually made some chips at home twice this week which I only ever do for kids. My kids liked this as well and my husband who generally hates mayonnaise. He said this is something he could consider using again. I also loved the white colour. Will definitely buy again.

I was given this product by Ocado to review. This tastes amazing. Why can?t all mayo just be vegan now, the eggs seems redundant. It tastes almost exactly like standard mayo and is rich, creamy and smooth with a great flavour. The only negative thing I have on this is that it?s in plastic, glass would make it more appealing on the sustainability front. I would definitely buy this again though.

Is delicious, creamy and is not oily but the bottle design is terrible. After a few uses. You are going to have to shake the bottle as if you were trying to shake the devil out of it lol and it will spit the mayo and leave sprinkles all around. You will never ve able to leave the bottle empty, unless you arm yourself with a knife a slice the plastic bottle in 2 to scoop the mayo out with a spatula. If this came in a glass jar, I would give it a 5 star.

I am reviewing this after Ocado kindly gave me a sample. I am actually Vegan. Tastes as I remember normal mayo without a sickly egg after taste. It squeezes well from the tube as it isn't too thick but also not too thin. It is pretty similar to the Hellman's Vegan mayo. If both were the same price I would probably have slight preference for Hellman's but both are great and taste just like mayo with a great consistency. My favourite is Vegan Mayo is Follow Your Heart Vegenaise unfortunately not stocked by Ocado. This product is cruelty free. No chicks culled for this (as they are with traditional recipe mayo) and tastes better as it is not sickly. Why wouldn't you buy it?!
Absolutely love this. I would have given it 5* but the bottle drives me nuts. So difficult to get a full amount out as air gets trapped & spits all over the place. I try & get my knife in to get a decent amount out but it ends up messy & also I end up throwing the bottle away with still quite a bit left inside.Would personally like to see this in a glass jar, please!
Ocado sent me a free sample in exchange for an honest review. The bottle is very small, I?ve only realised now that it was garlic flavour so it must have been very mild flavouring because I didn?t notice that when eating it. I have to be honest and say that this wouldn?t be my first choice of vegan mayonnaise, follow your heart vegan mayo and Hellman?s vegan mayo is much nicer. For that reason, I wouldn?t recommend this one to a friend.
It's nice to have another egg-free and dairy-free option. But it didn't add much to the meal apart from a very mild garlic flavoured dollop of creamy fat. Not sure about the additive EDTA either. We prefer home made garlic mayo or dip made from soaked and whizzed up cashews. This seems a bit expensive for the ingredients - mainly oil. I got this free in return for an honest review.
I'm reviewing this product because Ocado sent me a free sample. And I'm entirely in two minds about it. Squeezing it out of the bottle for a little taste, I was pleasantly surprised. It has the mouthfeel of mayonnaise, coating the pallet with a gentle oiliness. Your tastebuds will detect the zing of vinegar. The consistency is silky and thick. And it's (slightly suspiciously) bright white in colour. The thing is, I know how easy it is to make vegan mayonnaise from scratch using soya milk, rapeseed oil, lemon juice, white miso paste and French mustard. So why have this... made using spirit vinegar, modified starch and added sugar! Plus, it's shockingly easy to squeeze out an excessive dollop onto your dish.
I have been sent this to review for, Ocado...Seriously good! I actuall prefer this to the original, Heinz Mayo. It is creamy and tasty. I am glucose intolerent so is this. No artfiicial colours and vegan. Love mayo with so many things. You can tell it is natural by the taste. I really liked it...
I was sent a bottle by Ocado for a genuine review and I have to say this is wonderful. I normally buy vegannaise which I find lasts incredibly well in the fridge as I use it infrequently. Egg Mayo is lovely, but goes rancid smelling after a while - the vegan alternative ones do not and that?s a great bonus to me; I find them just as creamy and delicious after many months! I did a taste test with the two different brands and I could hardly tell any difference, so I would buy this again. I don?t like the plastic bottle so I?m probably going to stick to the Hellman?s vegan Mayo, because the jars are fantastic for making your own pickle in - the tops don?t go rusty! Definitely recommend this Mayo - it?s just as nice as normal Mayo.
