good quality thick soup quite filling and really nice flavour but I usually spice it up a bit by adding dried chilli flakes when cooking, I just like things spicy. It is easy to prepare ring pull so no faffing about with can openers, great for warming up after being out on a cold day. 94 calories per half can I always eat a whole can, 188 calories, who opens a can of soup and only eats half oh, I will just have this tiny portion and decant the rest into a tub and put it in the fridge for later I think not, I wish manufacturers would give nutritional info for sensible portion sizes. I had a 45g packet of nuts yesterday that gave nutritional info per 25g portion so I had 1.8 portions it is just as well I like mental arithmetic. Anyway, none of this is really relevant ... Moregood quality thick soup quite filling and really nice flavour but I usually spice it up a bit by adding dried chilli flakes when cooking, I just like things spicy. Yes it was creamy. Did it taste of mushroom. No. There was a hint of mushroom I would have preferred there to be more. It was lovely and thick and creamy. Would I buy it again. Probably but not regularly. It would t be my goto soup.

A couple of weeks ago I received a can of 'Heinz Chicken Mushroom Soup' free from Influenster and Heinz to review. I enjoyed it so much one evening as a quick meal with some croutons and it went down very well. The can was easy to open and serve. Its quantity was enough for me and it filled me up. This soup was so delicious and creamy. It was the best one I have ever eaten so far. Now I have added it to my weekly shopping list. I'd highly recommend it to others.

I've loved Heinz since I was a little girl. It was the meal that was my mom's go to when it was cold outside or I was feeling poorly and now it's my go to for my girls. This flavour Chicken and Mushroom is delicious. I will definitely be looking for it on the shelves on my next shopping trip.
I got this soup free from Ocado to review. I make vegetable soup myself but tried this for when I am too tired or dont have time. Im sorry to say I found it very bland and the vegetables tasted of nothing at all. I couldnt finish it as it was not eatable once my initial hunger was gone after I finished half. If Im unwell and need healthy sustenance I will have this, hence I have given it two stars.
Heinz soups seem to be a shadow of their former selves. Last time I had a tin of veg soup, it was flavourful and gorgeous, (albeit that was around 30 years ago). This tin consisted of a few bits of tinned veg, drowning in a thick tomato "blancmange". It was so thick I had to water it down. Dreadful.
I was given this for a review by Ocado. A 400g tin was substituted for a 300g tin as it was out of stock. We usually buy the larger size tin as it makes more of a meal, so was happy to have the substitution. The general feeling was we would have preferred more vegetables, instead of the soup being padded out with pasta. I dont expect vegetable soup to have pasta in it either and it didnt need it! It was a little sweet too but the general flavour was ok. Not sure if we would buy again which is a shame as we are all expected to cut down on our meat eating.
This is a soup for thse who don't really like food. A can of water with some scraps of carrot, ptato and a few peas bulked out with rice. And this can be yours for an exorbitant price set by Heinz. The makers proudly tell us that the product is free from articial colourss and flavours. They should, "Free From Flavour" and "Free from Any Point".
Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. This is a good basic store cupboard soup and one of the few cheaper ones that is suitable for vegans. I don't find it particularly filling, so I am surprised that the can states that it serves two - it's a small can size. It's quite tasty though and useful to have as a standby, but I prefer the Heinz lentil soup.
What have they done to this soup. it's sweet not much veg in it & if someone else had served me this up i would've thought it was carrot soup. The taste was just like eating a bowl of sugar. I would not waste my hard earned cash on this muck again. Heinz you should hang your head in shame to serve this muck up to your customers. I'm going to make my own from now on.
