Great quality, fits comfortably and not restrictive. As mentioned in another review, my wife is 5' 3" and 107 lbs and has had mixed results with women's XS and small. A friend suggested kids sizing and what a difference. The girls 14 and 16 are perfect. Plus the pricing is less. Very pleased.

I purchased these snow pants for my 8 year old son. He typically wears a size 10 in clothing and these size 10 pants fit quite well (although they are a little big). The quality appears excellent and the pants seem to be durable. Although well insulated, the pants are quite lightweight and not bulky. The pants have a seam that can be let out, increasing the length by one size. With growing kids, this is a great feature! The pants also have zippered pockets and boot clips, which are nice additional features. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

Very durable. Very waterproof. We have purchased them 4 times for our kids. Our oldest is very hard on his gear and they have lasted well to be passed down to our second amd third child. Fit is great - has adjustable Velcro pieces on the side of the waist to tighten them up a bit - our kids are thin so this is necessary for them to stay up nicely.

Well made, warm, daughter loved the colors. I ordered a 12 for my 4th grade daughter who has been in a 10/12 for awhile now. These were fine in the length but much too big in the waist. She has other brands of snow-pants in equivalent sizes that work fine. She?s thin and average height. We will keep these for next year; I?m sure she?ll grow into them. If you?re between sizes, you may want to size down.
I like these pants so much, these were actually my second pair. Perfect fit for me - I am 5'6", 120 lb. Waist 28, inseam 28. Probably would be enough room to accommodate another inch or two at the waist. Thigh fit is relatively slender.
I think this is the fifth size I’ve purchased in these ski-pants. My sons love them, and as they grow, I buy the next size up. I love that the knees don’t fall apart like other brands! Highly recommend!
I ordered the size 16 for my son who wears a 28/32 in j crew slim pants. These really don't fit him, but I was desperate to find something fast. The size chart says it's for 29.5" waist and 32" hip. The waist and hips are huge. I'm having them taken in (which may wreck the waterproof qualities in the seams). I wouldn't be exaggerating to say she is taking them in 5-6 inches in the rear end. If you pull the velcro to the tightest setting it looks like a diaper in back. The length is probably long for someone 5' tall. They are a bit short on my son, but he is 5'8" and size chart says 60-61.5" height. The leg is much slimmer than the Northface Freedom pants so that is good for a slimmer boy. For reference I am 120lbs, 5ft, so it is very difficult finding snow pants in the womens section that cater to my height. These were perfect! Length and fit were perfect! Not only that, but saving a couple of dollars buying in the youth section was also a bonus! Altitude Sports also carried a variety of colours in this style which other stores don't have! I went with the black ones just cuz of versatility, but would love to get a coloured pair in the future! I purchased a size 14 for reference. 16 had too much room in the waist, but the 14s were true to size (not too snug, not too loose)
These pants are great! - got a size 10 and they are slightly big on my almost-10-year-old, but with the Velcro tabs he's made then work no issue, and we've been out on the mountain now for 3 days. So glad we got the size 10 as he will likely be able to wear them 3 seasons since they also have the pull-string that makes the hem longer. Warm and toasty, but not too thick or bulky. Love the color - we can see him miles away lol. Great quality as expected from HH. Thanks!
These ski pants are top quality. The problem is the waist is way too big compared to the rest of the pants. And they cerainly do not match the size chart for HH kids ski pants. My grand daughter, who I ordered these pants for, is not skinny. She is a rather athletic 10 year old. I am really sorry they did not work out for her.
