This jacket is by far an away the best rainjacket I have ever owned. The length is perfect (I'm 5'5", 140lb and got a medium) and protects the seat of my pants when perching on a wet bench/wall etc. The waist is fitted and very flattering. The lined collar makes it extremely comfortable against my neck/chin even when zipped fully closed. I haven't worn it yet in warm weather, but the medium is perfect for cold weather as I can wear a big chunky sweater underneath and still have plenty of room. I typically wear smalls, but based on other reviews, sized up in this jacket and it's just where I wanted it - plenty of room but still flattering. Highly, highly recommend this product!

I bought this for my mom (56) for Mother's Day last year and she absolutely loves it. It has a perfect balance of elegant design and true function, allowing her to wear it for work and pleasure. She works in a non-profit organization alongside the justice system, so it maintains a perfect balance of professionalism in the eyes of Crown Attorneys, while not distancing herself too far from the less wealthy who she most often works with. Outside work, she wears it everywhere she goes, walking the dog and on low intensity hikes in whatever the flavour of weather is any given day. I'd say it's a winner for anyone looking for a new rain jacket.

Recently purchased my second Helly Hansen "W AUDEN COAT". I bought my first one in white as an impulse buy knowing that the colour was impractical and would probably mean the coat would not last long. I lasted very well and was easily restored from a grubby greyish off white back into a stylish white coat that was cheering to wearing during the long dull winter weather.I am delighted to have found the exact same model coat on sale again this year. I have bought it in black this time as I know that I am going to have to wear a smart( yet practical) coat more often this winter.It is lightweight, comfortable, stylish and easy to wear. A word of caution it is a snug fit so if you prefer your coats to be less 'fitting' go for one a size larger than you would usually.

I got this jacket in green and it is so cute. I sized up to a Large based on some other comments as I'm usually a medium. It is way too narrow in the hips and I will return. I wanted to be able to layer underneath on an overseas trip and the narrow cut will make that hard.

Good quality and pleased with the light weight mac - windproof and waterproof. Good pocket for mobile phone inside, although I would have liked another inside pocket for wallet - needed the main outside pockets for keeping my hands warm!
This Helly Hansen coat is well-made, classy looking and fun to wear. I love the coat in black….hope to purchase the white, too. The coat zips up and also has snaps — it’s a “cozy” coat! Material is good quality and looks great. Sizing is accurate. I don’t usually like attached hoods, but this one actually looks very nice. Just got it today for a rainy afternoon. It’s large enough for a sweat shirt under, but still slim looking. It is the perfect light layer on a rainy day. It covers the hips which is good for all this torrential rain lately in CA.

For the past few years I have been making do with cheap raincoats thinking they do the same job. Oh my golly gosh, how wrong was I. I love this raincoat. The length protects my back and backside getting the baby in and out of the car and it does a great job of keeping me dry and warm as I push a pram round the suburb. I am normally a size 14 but got the XL expecting I would probably want to wear some thick jumpers over winter. It probably wouldn’t accommodate anything too bulky but fortunately it is a warm coat
