I love this dining table. It is chic, timeless in design and a quality, solid piece of furniture. it is a great size for seating 6 people without feeling cramped for space. The design also allows for the dining chairs to tuck in close to the table which is perfect for our apartment.

But, I think the way the top is attached to the frame is a bit dodgy.One other observation is that the Hensely range in store all had a lot more feature in the timber than what we got (table, 8 chairs, 2 coffee tables, a tv unit and king bed). It is what it is, but we both wish their was a lot more feature in ours.

Lovely sturdy table. We noted the one in the showroom was much more yellow than the one on the website. Sales assistant told us it was an old one and the varnish has yellowed over time. He told us they have changed the varnish now and that won’t happen now. After one week of use, we have noted certain parts of the wood are beginning to yellow. So we are beginning to get yellow stripes on the table. We also had the same trouble with our online order as our Hensley chairs. (Order lost, took a long time to get help from store, table arrived two weeks later than expected).
Nice table, shame about the delivery service.The table is well made and solid with nice hardwood and a good finish. Paying $250 for it to be delivered and having the boxes dumped and left is not great. For that price they should be unpacking, assembling it and taking away the rubbish too.
Purchased the Hensley dining table and we were excited to have it arrive only to unpack it to find it has a major gouge that runs down the full length of the table. There was no damage to the packaging so it appears it was a manufacturing defect so they obviously don't have very good quality control at the factory. We contacted Freedom and they apologised and sent us a link to an online warranty form that we completed. We have since made multiple phone calls to different departments and left many phone messages to try and find out what is happening to resolve this issue. When we have talked to a real person they say they don't have the phone number for the warranty department that handles this and they will have to email them to ask them to contact us. We deeply regret purchasing this product from freedom as the after sales support is currently non existent.
This purchase was due to a credit we received for a faulty Tilda Dining table where a panel started to peel off. We decided to buy this due to it being a solid timber table over the veneer like the Tilda. It is nice although the quality is a concern. Straight away I can see where there is natural marks in the timber not enough stain has been put on and in some parts the texture is rough where as in others it is smooth. I will not buy from Freedom again. After this and a rug purchase the quality is suspect.
Very happy with our new Hensley dining table and chairs. The table looks and feels great and the chairs are comfy. Didn’t give a five as the table came with glides / caps (things that screw into the bottom of the table leg) but the chairs didn’t so they are very noisy and a smidge shorter. Can be easily solved but seems weird if they are a set.
We purchased the 160x90 size table and are very happy with it. It’s simple and elegant in its design. It fits our small space very nicely. I do however wish it came in a 180cm length.Was very easy to screw the legs to the table once delivered, and delivery was very prompt.Can’t go wrong with the Hensley range I think :)
We saved for ages for this table but the one we received was disappointing. One leg has a long defect the entire length of the leg, a dent, and the top pieces range from fluro yellow to peach, with black splotches and lines. The Hensley furniture we saw in store were much more uniform in color. Otherwise well made, but overpriced for the timber unless you like that effect. Description is true regarding color variation but the photos are misleading as it shows uniform color.
