Herbal Essences Bio Renew White Strawberry & Mint Conditioner 400ml

I was given the opportunity to trial and review this conditioner from Herbal Essences. I have medium length, fine, thin, colored blonde hair. Firstly I don’t use supermarket branded conditioners or Herbal Essences but was keen to try this as it’s a clean product made with real botanicals. That’s a massive bonus for me. Thumbs up for no parabens, mineral oils and colourants plus other nasty chemicals that are not added. The bottle isn’t clear like most others so you are never too sure how much is left unlike the matching shampoo which is a clear bottle. It’s easy to use and description is clear on the bottle. It does smell like strawberries with a touch of mint but I don’t know what white strawberries are supposed to smell like. Do they even exist? It’s not awful but not beautifully smelling either. It doesn’t linger much on the hair after rinsing which is fine by me as I sometimes use hair perfume. It did a good job of conditioning my hair and I leave it in for a few minutes before rinsing as my hair gets notty easily. It did the job well. If you like clean, natural, cheap supermarket brand conditioners give this a try you won’t be disappointed.

I was very impressed with the lux looking packaging, though I can’t say I loved the twist too. Would prefer a pump dispenser instead. This conditioner has a lovely fruity fragrance which is refreshing, but can be a little over powering, especially if you are sensitive to fragrances. I have to say I’ve been quite impressed overall with the product, especially considering how affordable it is! It is very moisturising and makes a noticeable difference on dry ends and flyaways. Great short term results but needed a deeper more moisturising treatment over time. I do love that Herbal Essences is a cruelty free brand and would still say your getting great value for money with this product.

I found this conditioner to be pleasant smelling and true to it’s name- strawberry and mint. The shampoo I found a little drying but this conditioner really conditioned my hair right to the ends and didn't cause frizz while at the same time not making it look greasy. It's great value for money at this price range and easily accessible at most supermarkets and chemists. This conditioner has 90% natural ingredients without any sacrifices for what I need my conditioner to do.
