I bought two of these and one was faulty… it kept collapsing (the EZ Grip didn’t grip!).However, DJ City were very helpful, organising a free return, and immediately sending out a replacement (which I’m expecting next week).I hope that the new one works as expected!

I started using a friend of mine's stand for live performances and very quickly decided I needed my own. Solid construction and the mic clip handles any mic I put in it which is great.

We've have Hercules stands now and that is why I ordered the same brand. These are easier to operate and understand by novice volunteers because of the handgrip clutch release. However the EZ mic clips are not suitable for our wireless microphones and pretty much a waste for our venue. Why have something so easy to operate and throw in clips that require two handed operation?? Give the buyer the option to have the clips needed for their venue and I would up rating to five stars

So easy to set up, sturdy, above average quality, sufficient weight to give stability yet not too heavy. One hand operation is a blessing and so easy to use. No other clips etc are needed. The price is pitched about right. Delivery is less than 24 hours by DPD. Thank you PMT for the whole package.
I am a huge fan of Hercules. They really live up to the name!Incredibly strong/durable and stable!The bottom plate is incredibly heavy! Perfect! Just what I need for my home studio for keeping my condensor mic in place! Would also be great for stage as long as you don't jump around and dance with it.Also very easy to adjust! May be pricey but these would last a lifetime. Great investment!
Couple of things with this stand.The top part doesn’t easily separate from the bottom at full extension which is not a huge problem but would make for fun stage antics.The mechanism that release the height adjuster is placed poorly for 50s style microphones meaning you have to use an additional holder to fix a wired microphone to the stand. Not a problem as long as the mic comes with the additional part.
Bought to replace tripod style as I wanted something that doesn't lean once ipad clipped on. I was not disappointed. It feels very secure and so easy to adjust.
Pay the money and your stands will never fall apart and this is one of those mic stands. A gigging musician from when time began...
Amazing Stand! I've tried other stands (by other brands) that have a similar "clutch release" controller and unfortunately, they failed miserably! This is a quality-built stand! The price was great and shipping fast :) Recommended!!!!
