Hercules SS200BB Stage Series Speaker Stands w/ Bag (Pair)

Well made stands! Better than most I’ve used. They are nice and light and easy to set up and pack down. The carry bag is great quality too. The only slightly annoying thing is the speaker adaptor, which sits at the the top of the pole. This sometimes gets in the way (gets stuck) when you are trying to fit a speaker with standard 35mm mount. Only a small niggle really.The stands are easy to set up and pack down and seem to be of professional quality. I reckon these will last and I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again!

Working as a DJ these stands have been fantastic for the last 5 years holding my QSC k12 speakers (around 25kg each). This is a second set I have just purchased for another set of K12s. The are lightweight however incredibly strong and durable. Only bad point is they have a sleeve at the top to accommodate 2 sizes of speaker holes and the bracket/sleeve vibrates and can make noise when the speaker is on it. I taped around it in black tape to hold each one firm in place.The carry bag has a divider down the middle so the stands don't rub and scratch together during transport. I did find however the material to be a little thin and the bag now has holes at the ends. Still not bad for regular use over 5 years. I love Hercules products and also use 2 of the winch up T-bar lighting stands and have had no problem over the last 5+ years with them. Might be more expensive but you get what you pay for and the quality of product and worry free peace of mind out weighs any higher cost.

Good quality, very stable

I was nervous when I read the review that the base was not big enough and not stable for holding speakers. I'm glad the review was wrong. Stands do exactly what we need them to do.

Not enough support. Needs improving!

I was surprised at how unstable this product is, being a Hercules product. The legs of the tripod are too short to allow maximum support for a heavy speaker. The legs need to be longer and come together at a higher point for better support. Maybe making the speaker pole thicker would help as well. Hercules, don't worry so much about making your product light, over a bar patron's safety. Someone bumps into this thing, and you could be looking at a law suit. When changes are made, I'll gladly buy it, just like i've relied on your mic stand, sax stand, music stand, and multiple guitar stands.

Speaker Stands

I tried Hercules speaker stands, as I've previously had good mic stands and guitar stands from them. These do not disappoint- extremely light(surprisingly so!) and sturdy- perfect for my small PA set up. Bonus! Came with a handy carrying bag- great for loading in and out of venues quickly- would buy these stands again, but I have a feeling, they'll be around long after I'm gone. 😀

Very quick delivery of a solid reliable product.

Previous PA stands have been too flimsy but this product is as sturdy as they can get. So reliable giving me piece of mind.

Wouldn't buy again!

They will be sufficient for now to far to drive to the nearest guitar center. I believe they could of made a trucker pole or something but theses stands seem wobbly to me. One accidental bump they might tilt over. Could of been thicker steel. Seems cheap.

its all built really well especially the weight of it. its so light it doesnt feel like it could hold a speaker. the one downfall on this is the upper part that holds the speaker it sways a little. if they put a thicker gauge pipe to hold the speaker it would be perfect
