So, just received this guitar after a hard time with UPS. I was so excited to get this guitar but after many failed attempts by UPS I was ready to just cancel the order and forget about it. Once I plugged it in however, I was hooked and blown away by the tone and playability. After many failed "G" Les Paul attempts, I have found my dream LP. The Dirty Lemon aged finish is stunning as is the attention to detail and craftsmanship. I've never owned a G custom Shop LP but this one blows away the standard line by miles.

The hand craftsmanship is unparalleled. These are hand made guitars. There is no CNC machining here. They do put it on a PLEK machine to make the frets perfect. This Standard line is equivalent to Gibsons Custom Shop guitars for a fraction of the price. All the major YouTube guitar channels drooled over these Heritage guitars. The fit and finish is perfect. Seymour Duncan 59s in the neck and bridge sound killer. These guitars are keepers, so much so that you only find a small amount for resale on Reverb. I've never played a Les Paul type guitar even half as good as my H150. They are still being made with the original tools that the early original 50s and 60s Gibsons were made with. Talk about heart and soul in a guitar! The relic versions are exceptionally gorgeous ... MoreThe hand craftsmanship is unparalleled. These are hand made guitars. There is no CNC machining here. This guitar was recommended to me by a Sweetwater sales consultant. It was a great recommendation. I wasn't familiar with Heritage guitars but the sales consultant told me the history of the company and how they made small batches of high quality guitars for a reasonable price when considering the build quality and materials used. It's an absolute beauty and makes me sound better than I am. If you're looking for a higher end LP, you might want to consider going with a Heritage product. ...I got, essentially, something along the lines of a higher quality/price point LP. Maybe I'll buy a "real" LP in the future but I absolutely love this guitar. I'm also impressed by the knowledge of the Sweetwater sales consultants...they know their stuff. This is, without doubt my favourite guitar! I have owned guitars since I was a teenager and have had about 100 since then. All the top American brands and many others but this is fabulous! The aged finish is easily equal to another top brands custom shop models. I know because I have one. Looks fantastic, feels just lovely and plays so good!
Heritage h-150 custom core, beautiful finish, oozes quality and the parsons 225 pick ups are sublime for blues/rock. Well pleased.
I have the custom shop plain top.I have yet to play through amp.
What a lovely instrument. I was torn between the safe bet of a Gibson Les paul or go with my heart and buy the Heritage H-150 standard. I am delighted with my choice. Plays and sounds great.
I purchased this guitar after I had already bought the same model in dirty lemon. As you can see, its a gorgeous looking finish. The workmanship on the guitar is first rate. Fit and finish are flawless. I love the neck profile, beefy but comfortable. Best of all, the guitar sounds perfect to me. The Duncan 59s are a fine sounding pickup. Very happy with the purchase and would highly recommend. Dave Snow is my sales engineer, and his service is always terrific.
I've been playing for almost 42 yrs and I've played(owned) many guitars in this body style. These are the real deal. Made by the same luthiers, same methods, same equipment the Holy Grail cousins where made in the same place, Its a no brainer why these are such incredible guitars. I've played many of these and own(ed) a few every one I laid my hands on felt alive resonate and gave me a thought as to why I didn't jump on these years ago. Don't listen to the naysayers ,It doesn't get any realer than these. You want one of these golden era style guitars with out the $150.000 plus price tag? Buy these used or new you'll be a believer
