Herschel: Heritage Duffle - Peacoat/Light Taupe

The bag was a gift for my daughter-in-law. She was ecstatic when she saw it! It is something she had on a wish list because she loved the cool "look" of the bag, and also the practicality of it. It will get a lot of use in her busy lifestyle with 3 kids and as many pets.

Amazing Purchase

The bag is very spacious and good for a small weekend get way. I packed a pair of 11.5 men sneakers, sandals and three outfits in the bag with no problem. This is going to be my go to travel bag for many of my summer weekend getaways.

Best quality & best looking bags.

Love this bag!!!! Perfect size for a weekend getaway and love the color. I have the Herschel backpack and a few other bags in black, but love this fun color for summer!! The leather bottom is great for looks but also makes it much more sturdy. My grandson gets a Herschel backpack every year for his school backpack because of the quality and I am always looking for any new Herschel style & color. The simplicity of the bags are what I like but i definitely like the red & white stripped lining inside. I welcome new colors and styles and I will continue to buy new ones to add to my collection. Love them all!!

Black herschel duffle

Perfect bag for a weekend getaway! Fits multiple outfits, pair or shoes and a jacket! Classic and conventional design. Got a matching set for me and the boyfriend. He loves it too.

Exactly what I was hoping for

This is exactly what I was looking for! The bag is a little bit bigger than I expected, but that's a good thing. I was still able to travel with it under a seat on an airplane. Super happy with this bag - would def purchase again.

Great travel bag

Perfect for week-ends or in addition to your luggage. The color is beautiful and it matches other Herschel products.As always with their bags, the pockets are well thought.

Herschel Heritage Duffle

Beautiful design of the bag, a little smaller than I expected for it to be. The bag is convenient for a weekend trip or to use as a carry on. I am a tall guy with big feet. So this would only hold 1 pair of sneakers or shoes then the rest would be clothes.

Husband approved

I got this for my husband for his birthday. He really likes the duffle. The material is neat and not standard, and I like how the top zip opens up and allows for really nice access to the inside compartment. The duffle fits a lot!I would say the ONE thing that my husband noted is that there isn't a shoulder pad on the shoulder strap like our other Herschel duffle has. But don't let that stop you from buying the duffle :)

Love this bag, but…

First I’ll say that I really love this bag and wish you would make this improvements.What I love:- heavy duty construction feels both high quality and durable.- Size is perfect I can pack for a full week in this bag without it feeling like I’m lugging a big bag around.- U shape opening is a must for a duffle bag. The traditional straight line opening is one of the biggest downfalls of a duffle. Difficult to pack and difficult to get your stuff, but this changes all that with the opening.What I would love you all to fix- the straps are high quality and silky smooth, but the handles need a Velcro wrap so you can secure them together otherwise flapping all over the place. Same for the shoulder strap. Silky smooth slides off your shoulder when carrying. You need a shoulder cushion on the strap.- Zippered side pocket is essential for storing things separate from you clothes, keys, toiletries snacks, etc.. I like the mesh pocket inside the bag but is impractical for these items and not easily accessible when moving.- water bottle holder. Grabbing a bottle of water at the airport and having a place to stuff it is a plus.- the small front pocket is nice looking, but without a zipper I wouldn’t put anything in there that I wouldn’t want to lose.You have other bags with some of these features but they are too big. This bag is ideal as a carry-on for short flights, for a weekend trip, or even longer if you're a light packer. I picked this up for a business trip and it was perfect.
