This back pack is nice. Not sure how durable it will be yet but my girl loves it. She has wanted a Herschel back pack for a while now. We got a kids youth one and it was pretty small to fit all her winter gear plus her lunch box/extra clothes etc⊠Not quite sure how this one will pan out but I donât want to return another one. Here are pics for people to see. I was going to go with the Retreat one but I didnât like how the front pocket had no zipper and it was pretty much the same size.Anyway, overall, we will see how this backpack works out. Super fast delivery though for our replacement which was awesome. Oh and just a heads up with this company, if you want to return something here they charge you a $5.00 dollar fee to get money back. If this bag were just a little bigger I would give it five stars. It feels well made and sturdy, it's just hard for my middle schooler to get all of her stuff in it. It's very narrow at the top. And you absolutely CANNOT get a water bottle into the side pocket. Not even a small one. Otherwise it's adorable and might be better for a fun bag instead of a school bag.

Great, sturdy backpack. My daughter loves it! The brown is a rich, coppery brown in person. The inside is lined with a cute red and white pattern and the straps are nice and cushioned. There is a backpack that is almost identical but it is not quite as nice as this one. The Classic XL has the laptop section, red interior, and is roomier overall. The only con I would say is it could use more pockets. There's really just the big front pocket and the side water bottle pockets.

I bought this bag for school and when it arrived I kept it as I loved the design. However, after using it I have realised that it has no back padding? I carry around a laptop which I keep in the laptop sleeve, and I can feel the laptop on my back. The back of the bag is so thin that you can feel the laptop through it, making it uncomfortable to carry around. It also confused me as many of my friends have Herschel backpacks that they bought a few years ago and they all have padding at the back?

This backpack is the perfect size, not too big not too small. Both my kids have this exact one for school. We have an upcoming vacation and I wanted something to take to along to carry my things, so I decided to get one for myself. Excellent quality and construction! Thank you for adding a laptop sleeve to the standard classic. This makes the bag 100% better! However, now I like it 50% less because your signature red stripe interior is missing!! I sent the bag back because of this. WHY oh WHY did you decide on this particular bag to get rid of the red interior? It made finding things WAY easier and it was so bright and cheery. SO dissapointed Herschel. Who the heck in the design department though up this flop?
i ordered my package 08/21 and received my package 08/24, it was very fast shipping. the backpack is a good size for me (the use is for school.) and a great look.my suggestion is that hershels add a key loop inside the front of the bag in the pouch and make both sides able to fit water bottles. otherwise, a perfect bag.runs a bit small if looking for something with a lot of space!
