The Orthadontic Dummy from Hevea is made from 100% sustainably sourced natural rubber. It is soft but very durable and resistant to teething bites. The non-toxic natural rubber is free from BPA, phthalates and PVC, providing a safe and healthy dummy that will not expose your baby to harmful chemicals. The dummy includes unique ventilation holes which prevent a vacuum forming around the mouth, whilst the solid and ergonomic butterfly shape is thoughtfully designed to give space for the nose and chin. These two features combine to provide a dummy that is not only soothing for your baby, but comfortable too. The orthodontic teat has a flattened bottom and rounded top which is designed to prevent tooth misalignment and orthodontic issues later in life, as baby teeth come in and eventually give way to adult teeth. When the dummy first arrives, it may have a slight greasy feel to it. This is because the dummy is coated in a fine layer of vegetable oil to prevent it from drying out. This will disappear during the initial sterilisation.
