I got this as a gift for someone who really likes hip packs, but needed more variety to match a couple of different outfits. She always carries her wallet, phone, keys, pens, sunglasses, a small journal, lip balm, and pocket comb. She really liked my Fjallraven Kanken Hip Pack, but I knew that would be slightly too small. The High Coast Hip Pack has somewhat more flexible fabric than the Kanken and has more easily accessible front and back pockets. It fits all of her things and looks great! The strap is very adjustable.

Admittedly non-traditional use. I use this as a crisis response EDC. Three naloxone and a pulse ox, front pocket for gloves, tab in the main back for gauze pads, rear pouch for alcohol swabs, bandaids, small notebook, small utility tool.I love this thing. Of the maybe six pouches I've gone through, it holds the most while being low-profile, comfortable, and hanging in a subtle way. If I'm walking downtown, it's completely innocuous, and I'm never without what I need most days. It's durable, relatively waterproof (I learned today), adjustable, and I'm serious, holds a ton of stuff very comfortably - even without tilting forward at a silly angle the way many other pouches do. Couldn't be happier with this thing.

This is a perfect small bag! I wear it as a crossbody bag which works perfectly. I can easily access it and it fits a surprising amount without being bulky. I can wear it under a small jacket pretty easily. The strap is long for me even as a Crossbody bag but this will allow it to fit any size of person. There is also a band to keep access strap from flapping around. I love all of the different zip pockets and compartments inside.

Perfect size to keep on me while traveling - it fits sunscreen, sunglasses, passport, portable charger, hand sanitizer, cash, and sometimes a couple other small things. The back zipper pocket is perfect for keeping valuables more hidden. I use the front pocket to carry cash in place of a separate wallet. I have the strap set to wear as a cross-body and its comfortable that way. Haven't tested the bag's waterproofness in severe rain, but its held up very well in light rain. Would definitely recommend.
I like that the main compartment has two zippers, which you can adjust to where you want. (I wear this as a sling across my left or right side and like to always have the zippers “on top.” You can adjust to your preference no matter what side you wear the bag.) Doesn’t get too hot against your body in warm weather. The size and shape is also good for packing different items in an organized fashion, and I prefer it over other popular belt bags I’ve tried. The inner mesh pocket can fit a passport. Love Fjallraven quality and happy with my purchase from Nordstrom!
This is a great bag with the perfect distribution of pockets! I use it alongside a diaper backpack. I love having my essentials easy access, instead of having to swing around my backpack and dig. I also enjoy being able to pop into a store with just the hip pack in my chest. It's great with babies as it doesn't get in the way of holding them.I keep my phone in the back pocket. The front pocket holds my hand sanitizer, a lens wipe, and chapstick. The main compartment holds tissues, keys, and my wallet. I can also throw in my check book, a small toy for my child, a burp cloth, or a glasses case.
Bought this a couple of weeks ago, having tried a few others over the last year. Bought the black version. Like the feel and flexibility of the material (things slide in and out without grabbing). I like the high build quality, sizing and practicality of the storage compartments as well as zipper placements and length. End loops are great for a small carabiner for keys (or?) or hanging on a backpack.I like this bag better than any I’veever had before. Yes recommend it for everyday use.Back compartment comfortably handles a 3 1/2”x 6” phone with easy access. Front carry’s my wallet with lots to spare. Centre will hold glasses comfortably or other needs. For an everyday waist pack, this is an excellent product. I’m a long torso fella so waist/shoulder band works ... MoreBought this a couple of weeks ago, having tried a few others over the last year. Bought the black version. Waist has about 8” of excess length but sliding the loop up against the sewn section at the end, seems to hold it in place when on my waist, and facilitates a comfortable carry position when across the chest.
I love the 3 zipper compartments. Allows me to organize well in a small bag. Perfect size for the essentials. Holds my phone, keys, charging stick, lip gloss, band-aides, and a few odds and ends along the way. I do wish the strap was wider from a looks perspectives but it functions fine. Definitely recommend if looking for a small fanny pack of chest bag (I wear as a chest bag).
After owning and using multiple varied Fanny packs over the course of the last 3 years, I finally found the one that can be ideal for more than one situation. Coming in at around 1.5L, it is the perfect middle ground in size compared to standard 1L of other EDC models while 2-3L is far too big for a daily carry. Construction of the pack is standard Fjallraven being outsourced sadly in Asia. Stitching is ok and material is however super light weight. The shape is also nice and rectangular versus too much of a an triangle like other models/brands. The perfect size you will actually carry daily and not too large for backpacking use with a rucksack. Yes it comes in more expensive and than a cheaper DAKINE competitor but as they say, “buy once, cry once.” I will conduct ... MoreAfter owning and using multiple varied Fanny packs over the course of the last 3 years, I finally found the one that can be ideal for more than one situation. So far after all the research I did via youtube, I am very pleased with this purchase. I was able to hand down my other two Fanny packs to my kids and confidently rely on this ONE Pack now.
TLDR: insanely versatile, fits a lot more than you would expect for the size, strap should fit the vast majority of people, back pocket big enough for gigantic phones, but I don’t like that they advertise waterproofness when there are so many zippers.I had a little bit of buyer’s remorse immediately after purchasing it because already have both sizes of the Ulvo sling/hip pack. I am so happy I got it, though! The back pocket is huge: it comfortably fits my iPhone 14 pro max (and could probably fit something a bit larger, too) along with a lip balm and a a small pill case. You could fit most mirrorless camera bodies in the main compartment, I think. But it also works for my wallet, keys, sunscreen, and compact with room to spare. And there’s a front pocket on top of that.It doesn’t feel weird when not fully loaded (unlike the larger ulvo), and the strap is really adjustable. I am 5’11” with a 36H chest, and works great as a sling. It also easily tightens to my 30” low waist (and would fit someone smaller) and, because of an elastic cover, it doesn’t have a bunch of extra strap flapping around.I’m not sure the material will last as long as Fjällräven’s G1000. The material is waterproof, apparently, but because there are so many non-sealed zippers, I would want to put it under my rain coat in any serious rain. Fortunately, it is definitely small enough to do that.I’m not taking a star off for that because I haven’t tried it and also I just don’t trust almost any bag to be completely water resistant. Also there are a couple people in the reviews who say it’s too small. I have no idea why. I think for the size it fits way more than I expected, but if you want to put a water bottle, DSLR, and a sweater in it, you need something bigger. Check the measurements first.
