I only feed Hikari products for both my Koi and aquarium fish. Never had any problems and the fish thrive on it.
Our koi and goldfish love this food! When we have to switch them over to wheat germ as the weather cools (we also use the Hikari brand wheat germ) they are very upset!
I typically buy the 11 lb bags and they last me a good 2-3 months depending on how much I'm feeding the koi. My koi love this food and they have always had good color and show consistently good growth.
I've been very pleased with the Hikari Gold. It's a bit more expensive than the rest, but I feel you get what you pay for. My koi are big, happy, healthy and their colors are bright. It's a bit more expensive than the rest, but I feel you get what you pay for. Healthy fish are worth the extra cost. I switch to the Wheat Germ in the winter. I usually go through 2 of the 11 lb bags each summer. Best price I could find around. Quick shipping.
Our Koi Fish absolutely love this brand of fish food. They go crazy for it. It has also given them a vibrant color and their growth rate is amazing. I have 15 large koi in our pond and I like the large pellet. I always have clear water and no foul smells coming from the pond. Also, I couldn't find this price anywhere! great deal!
Only suitable for large adult fish.
Fantastic food it really make the colours on my fish brighter the fish look healthier and the growth rate is really good to.
