Our 12 month old Bull Mastiff pup had issues with his eating and he always seemed to have the runs. After consultation with our Vet he put us onto this and our boys tummy has settled and he’s eating habits are finally returning to normal. This is a great product 😁

I was recommended this by my vet when my puppy had diarrhea. My puppy loved it but it contains so much water that he stopped drinking his water, and it also meant he had to go very often for potty breaks. It also gave him very bad breath, and Rice and corn are quite high on the ingredient list which isn't ideal. I would only suggest this diet if your vet recommended it. I took him off it sooner than suggested by the vet as my puppy's bowels improved sooner than expected.

My 13 year old dog has had tummy issues his whole life. I had him on ( and still offer it to him in his bowl to snack on during the day) Earthborn Holistic food from day 1. He loved it and did great. Every week or so though he would go on a 1-2 day fast. He would not eat or drink and his tummy would squeak and churn. I felt so bad for him. He would not eat anything. Not even an egg which he loves. He had some teeth pulled and the vet gave me this food to help him during the rehab of the oral surgery. he LOVED it! He was eating like he never had. He was never a big eater but this has changed him. He now eats 2 meals a day with some light snacking during the day. He has always been 7 lbs 8 oz on the dot so weight was never an issue. I started feeding this to my 12 year old Yorkie after she had bouts with stomach trouble. My vet recommended this to me. I was reluctant because Molly is so picky, but she loved this food. I just recently got a new shipment and the food looked very different, very watery, darker in color just a totally different constancy. Well Molly will not touch it I'm so disappointed. I was reading they changed the formulation. Why? I'm so upset my dog loved it the way it was!
Have had to buy this HILLS brand of ID Gastrointestinal friendly food for my two dogs, when the Royal Canin has been out of stock nationally, on more than one occasion. But never again! It gave them both severe diarrhoea, and this occurred on 3 separate trials. Next time Royal Canin is out of stock or their ID Gastrointestinal/Digestive friendly product is unavailable, the dogs will be getting dry food; as this brand is NOT a viable alternative for my two.
They now have changed the formula recently. Like in the last two months. Instead of a stew, it is now like a watery soup. Less food in each can but full of water. For the expensiveness of this food, it should be more dense like it used to be. You used to get more meat and now it is full of water and rice with a small amount of chicken. My girl had her second round of TTA surgery and I was prepared early with a slab of these cans. It is highly absorbative and packed full of nutrients for post op care. Tasty for dogs and not overly stinky like other wet can foods. I also loved the firm consistancy which made it easier to add to Kongs for a frozen treat.
Have been using this product over a year for my 10yrs chihuahua mix with prior bouts of diarrhea. This item was on back ordered for weeks and glad to discover the site through Facebook. Had previous issues with dented cans through other vendors. Petflow really packages their items carefully. So far this is my 2nd order and has been ok. Will continue to order through this vendor. Expeditious shipping as well.
Sugar is too high on the ingredients list and does not list how much sugar is in the product. I have a small dog and I don't want to make an addict out of my dog. You don't list the amount of sugar per can. I'll have to use one of the other I/D low gastric foods you provide without the variety the stew to add to my dog's diet. It's a shame. A lack of information leads me unable to recommend this food to others.
my pup loves this, he has been eating it for 4 months. Now they recently change the new formula and it's watery. He has not been eating it like he used to be in the last 2 days since we got the new case. To add insult to the injury, yesterday I opened a can and saw some bubbles in it. Called the company and they advised to discard and bring the can back to the vet for a refund or exchange. I hate to show up to the vet looking like a cheapo asking for an exchange of a bad can. urghhh. This is so annoying
