I like the science diet brand. I like that the Hill's Science Diet Adult Perfect Digestion Chicken, Barley, & Whole Oats Recipe Dry Cat Food aids in digestion. I have one cat that has problems with diahrea, and she had no issues with that while eating this cat food. The pieces are small and so is their current food so it was easy to incorporate it so they don't have problems adjusting. I feel like this particular cat food is good for one of my cats, but not the other. I need a food with a higher fiber content over 4 percent as she gets constipation. I received Hill's Science Diet Adult Perfect Digestion Chicken, Barley, & Whole Oats Recipe Dry Cat Food complimentary from home tester club for my honest feedback.

While trying to finish up the old brand, our cat kept sniffing and rubbing the new bag.We moved the new bag only to find she had torn it open to eat the new kibble. She is a FIV cat and this food has definitely improved her health, coat and energy. The ingredients appeal to her sense of smell and taste.

If your cat has digestive issues with their current food, I highly recommend switching them to Hills Science Perfect Digestion. Cats went from IBS flare ups, to keeping their food down and gaining weight!

My adopted male cat ( age est 3-5 yrs) has gotten 3 fecal-impactions ( Vet E.R. visits) in his young life. After changing to to H.S. Adult Perfect Digestion, I have been able to go down on laxative meds for him, he loves the food. And the young female cat (1 yr) loves it too, No issues with hairballs for her.
My one year old cat is very finicky! She had diarrhea off & on for about a week & out of the blue stopped eating. Still drinking water and playing with her sister (littermate) and acting normal. I spent hundreds trying different wet food, tummy stuff, vitamins...she was not having it! So I looked at so many different special blend dry food options & today chose this new product. It is a miracle she was eating this kibble like it was Thanksgiving dinner! Not sure WHY she likes this- but I know this is my go to for her from today forward THANK YOU HILLS
My cat became deficient in vitamins and nutrients after about a month of eating this food and began wanting to eat anything I was eating, and developed pica, swallowed some hard plastic and then threw it up this morning. Thank goodness. But yeah, my cat won’t be eating this anymore for her own safety.
My cat prefers the "Sensitive Stomach" recipe to this one. Hard to know for sure, though, because this bag of food has only one month remaining on its "best by" date stamp. Ugh - 6 pounds of stale, old kibble. Disappointed in Petco sending me this - I'll never use the bag within 1 month, but my Marco knows its already not "fresh".
Just started our 3rd bag. My male cat loves his crunchies along with the daily wet. He had small hard poops, he only got a small amount of dry daily. Now the poops are larger and moist and he goes more often. He loves it and his fur softer also,
There's a decent amount of fiber in this for a dry food. Our kitty was constipated, only going once every 2-3 days, and her poo was hard and small when she did go. She was also puking hairballs several times a week. She's now going daily, and her poo is a normal size and consistency. It seems to be helping with the hairballs as well, which makes sense given how it works on the gut microbiome to help things pass through the system.
My cats and I love this specialty food from Science Diet! It works just as well as the prescription diet from Hills and my cats love the taste. I used to find vomit at least once a day, now I may find it once a week and the bowls are always empty!
