Great quality for the price. Our lab and golden mix love this food and they have lost considerable weight to bring them down to their target weights. The golden mix has skin allergies associated with certain kinds of dog foods which makes finding the appropriate weight loss and skin sensitive foods difficult. This food fits both the categories. We will continue to use this brand!

I love Hills in general. They put their money into nutrition research as opposed to marketing. As an animal scientist, I know that but veterinarians and animal nutritionists work to formulate Hills diets to fit all your pets needs.I had my dog on Hills Large Breed, and she just needed to lose a few pounds. 3/4 of the way through the bag and she is at her ideal body weight. I’m going to keep her on it but bump up the amount to maintenance level because the extra fiber has really helped her bowls. I’m very impressed.

My picky Chow Chows LOVE Hills Science Diet. Ive always bought good, quality food for my furry kids but it seems one or the other always had diarrhea, UNTIL I fed them Hills. Neither one has had anything but nice firm bowel movements. They receive the dry kibble everyday and an occasional can of Hills wet food which they literally drool over. Hills cost more than the Bil-Jac I used to feed them but its worth every penny. I can tell the kids feel better and they love it.WIN-WIN!

My big guy diagnosed with acute pancreatitis in January, he went a chicken and rice diet for 5 days. Ive also switched his food to the adult light and he has lost 5 pounds since. He seems happy again and is running around playing with his brother again. I put his brother on the same food, he just had a check up and vet says he is a very healthy boy. Definitely worth the price.

i got my Angel 3 years ago as a rescue. She was 22 lbs. though full grown Shes a Rottie/Lab mix, very large dog. 101 lbs. now, had to have a leg amputated, and intestinal block. i fed her this brand, but puppy formula first, then the adult -large breed after she gained the right amount of weight. Shes now the healthiest dog ive ever had! You can see her shine in the picture, and she was in need of a bath that day. In fact, she always looks as though shes just had a bath! Healthy, happy, active pooch! Obviously, i highly recommend this food.

Love this product but unfortunately, my automatic order keeps getting put back due to being unavailable. We have received this product for years but haven't been able to get it for over 12 months!!! But disappointed that there isn't a substitute order sent out instead.

Food for good

We've tried other foods but Koda (dog) seems to react to them with either skin irritation, ear irritation or gas. Hill's seems to be the only one that doesn't cause any of these. Koda is a 4year old Rottweiler who needed to go on a diet (vet request) this has helped keep him at a healthy weight and bonus a great coat. My one point would be cost, though quality food it would be great if there were bigger bags available 12kg doesn't go very far with a big dog.

Fussy Dogs find new favourite kibble

I have two very spoilt dogs who know that they will not be allowed to starve if they don't like their dog food. I have been having dramas with them lately with their kibble. Finally found this kibble which they love and the bite sizes are good for big dogs too. Not like trying to eat hundreds and thousands

Have raised two dogs on Hills Science dry dog food, always get compliments on how shiny our dog's coat is, and he loves the kibble! Always recommend to those who ask.

Works great for my Poodle X St Bernard

My dog was having consistent runny poos that I worked out was from her Blacklock kibble.I was a bit worried about wasting money swapping to one of the sensitive kilbbles as I read a number of reviews saying their dog's condition worsened or didn't improve. After reading the reviews on this I decided to the roll the dice - dog loves it, no more diahorrea, happy days!
