My vet recommended that we feed a food with grain do to health issues with one of our dogs. We tried three different brands. This one got a paws up. My dogs come running and beg to be fed. Never happened B4. The service is out standing delivery was so fast. We tried the "same" food from a local big box store. They turned up their noses and it was a paws down.

I have four small to medium size dogs and they are fed some of this food on top of their kibble. They eat it well and are healthy and full of energy. I also cook them grass fed lamb and beef which is served with the two Hill's Science Diet foods I buy them.

I bought 3 cases (36 cans) of Hill Science Diet dog food from Chewy.com. Their was no statement that these were seconds or damaged cans and I paid very close to what I would at Petsmart. The shipping box had no damage but most of the cans within the plastic enclosed cases had damage, so they were packaged up knowing full well they were damaged cans. Out of 36 cans there were only 16 with no damage and 20 with damage. 15 of the damaged cans have damage so severe they are un-useable (damage to the seam where they could have broken seals and contain botulism). Chewy.com knowingly shipped me severely damaged merchandise. I will never use them again.

My dogs love this food. However that is the first time I ordered online and through Chewy, but both my dogs won’t even touch this food. I don’t know if is the way they store it at the warehouse or because it had to be delivered and it’s warm outside and it might’ve changed the flavor of the food. But I already threw away 5 of these cans because I opened and tried to feed my dogs and they don’t even touch and just sits there.
Chewy has gone above and beyond, we get are dog food, cat treats, toys. What every we need in 2 days or less. The staff is very friendly and caring, they even help with Suggestions on some of the products I'm looking for. I have been ordering off of Chewy for over 8 yrs, they know the pugs names and more. We love are chewy.
We have been feeding our Chihuahua, Hills Science diet since we've had her. She gets kibble in her dish all day and a scoop of wet food once a day. We had been feeding her the beef formula but we tried the chicken formula this last time and she loves it. We'll switch between beef and chicken and she'll be a happy camper.
My rescue dog just started Prozac which resulted in appetite suppression. She only eats her kibble (also Science Diet) when REALLY hungry. I tried to switch her to Blue Buffalo slowly and in small amounts but it resulted in vomiting and gassiness (thank goodness it wasn’t bloat!). I’m glad there’s wet Science Diet dog food! I feed my large lab 1 cup of kibble + 1/4 of a can per meal, so I get to spread out 1 can over 2 meals. It’s much cheaper than commercial dog food toppers and has the essential nutrients that my pupper needs. Happy dog, happy life!
Science diet has changed its product a bit. It's much dryer, at times to dry. I always add water to it. Their beef and turkey was not available for a long time now its back and very different from the original produce . It's very dry almost like damp grain..That one I wont be buying again, and the pop top can they now use is very hard to get the dried food out of.
My dog tasted it and spit I right back out. I tried mixing it with something and still wouldn’t touch it. I tried with two cans from the 12. I also purchased a 35 lbs bag to have some variety and still no love even for the dry. Can I return for purchase of something else? I thought since my other dog who eats his hills food(albeit) prescription and he has no problem with it. 'I should have started with one can and a small bag, but I will keep in mind going forward.
I received a case of Hills Science Diet chicken and barley food, the cans were ALL dented. Chewy did give me a refund but I would rather have the cans not dented. I have had this problem in the past and stopped using them for a while. If it happens again I will have to switch companies. You order the food bc you need it, not to have to go out and shop for it. Other than this issue the service is great
