We lived in an incredibly damp house, and these were a lifesaver. They wouldn't last as long as in other houses due to how damp the place was, but after a couple of weeks it was amazing to see how full of water they were! Quite ingenious!

I placed a Hippo on my bookshelf and right where the Hippo was placed there was mould on the books right behind it. The other books farther away (left and right) had no mould on them. It was only on the ones right behind the Hippo Moister Absorber. To be frank, I was bloody angry! Now I'm worried about the other ones I'm using. Why would mould develop right behind where the Hippo was placed? It had only been there for a short while and there was no mould until after the Hippo was placed there.
I always have these in my wardrobes and under my sinks and you would be surprised how much moisture they collect.Great product and will buy again.
